My Swim Cap's patent pending design makes this swimming cap the last swimming cap you'll ever buy! Stylish, comfortable, durable and specifically designed to keep water out and hair dry! **DIVA PLUS (for long, thick, voluminous hair including braids, locs and extensions): The Diva Plus has substantial volume for the placement of braids, locs and extensions. **UNISEX PLUS (for thick shoulder-length hair or long, straight hair): The Unisex Plus has a bit more room than the Unisex, and is appropriate for shoulder-length hair if your hairline circumference is greater than 22 inches. **UNISEX (for short to shoulder length hair): The Unisex is shaped like traditional swimming caps. The Unisex is best for hairline circumference of less than 22 inches. ** JUNIOR (for kids): The Junior is for smaller heads, less than 22 inches in circumference. Junior will not comfortably fit most adults. IF YOU ARE IN BETWEEN SIZES, BETTER TO ORDER THE LARGER SIZE.

Firstly, I will say that the material of the cap was nicely made. It was certainly a different feel than what we are traditionally used to. Unfortunately, I cannot give the cap a good review with three or more stars at this time. The sizing from the company was wayyyyyyy off. I bought two caps, one for my daughter- pink and one for myself- leopard print. My daughter is 9 & has short, soft, natural hair (wavy). Her cap did not fit properly, it was extremely too small, barely coming down to cover her head. I thought certainly the sizing is off. There's no way I can see any one 3 years and up being able to fit this junior size. I tried it on my niece who is 24 mos and there you have it, that fit her perfectly. So for her, it was a total waste of money. For me, my cap was also too small- Unisex. I have an average sized adult head with a very short, almost buzz cut. The cap also barely fit me. I used it once and water got all of my hair wet. That cap fit my daughter perfectly but that also means she can't have braids or any other style that's not completely flat. I think I would benefit from the Unisex Plus. Again, but with no room for creative styles- braids nor extensions. Disappointed with both caps, I reached out to the company first commending them on the new design and informing them of my issues. I didn't want to give them this review based off the sizing issues. I would have preferred that they exchanged it directly first, then do a review. But although they were courteous and quickly responded, they had me go through Amazon to process the exchange, which is taking tooooo long and Amazon charged me a $25 exchange fee. So I am pissed and I will be calling Amazon about this. As I suggested to the company, their sizing chart is extremely missleading. Because of that, the exchange is not my fault. It should be on the company to make sure they size their product correctly. Why should I have to pay fees when it wasn't me returning it because I didn't like it? It's their issue and I informed them of it. Hopefully, I can update my review with a better experience. I should also mention this exchange process is long and spendy. I had to pay for shipping them back about $10 and replacement fee of $25, it's almost the sane price to purchase two new ones. If I had known these fees in advance, which Amazon DID NOT inform me of before changing my card, I would have just sold those and tried again. Or after selling them just bought regular cheap caps because my hair got wet either way, smhhh.

You can work with it
I actually started a return on this item because I could not get it on my head and I have a "pin head" Then it came to me...I put one of those flimsy shower caps over my hair and "my swim cap" slipped right on. I think this will keep your hair pretty dry but it smashes your ears but I guess it would have to to keep the water out. So on one hand I like it because it does the job but on the other it gives me a head ache. For me if I wasn't gong to wear it that long it is ideal. I'm still working with it to see if it will keep my hair dry with my ears out.

I do not recommend this product or this company
I purchased MySwimCap according to the sizing information on Amazon AND I went to the company Website to check their sizing information. I have a hairline circumference of greater than 22 inches. My hair is thick and falls about 6 inches below my shoulders. From the company: "**UNISEX PLUS (for thick shoulder-length hair or long, straight hair): The Unisex Plus has a bit more room than the Unisex, and is appropriate for short to shoulder-length hair if your hairline circumference is greater than 22 inches." (The package states this size is for short to shoulder-length hair.) Based on this, I ordered the Unisex Plus thinking it might be a little small, but I felt my hair would compress inside the cap. (The smaller, Unisex size is for a hairline circumference of less than 22 inches, so it cannot fit me.) The Unisex Plus does not fit when I put it on according to the instructions. When I get the band to fit my hairline, my hair does not fill the cap. The instructions say there should not be any space inside the cap. When I adjust the cap so there is not space inside, the band covers my eyes. I do not know how this can possibly work to keep my hair dry, but I only wanted it for water aerobics. I do not have time to wash and straighten my hair every day, so I wanted something to keep it dry during my class. This swim cap does not work. I am familiar with the fit of neoprene. I am a Master Scuba diver and often wear neoprene and get very wet in it. (I am NOT saying I bought this to Scuba dive! This product is totally inappropriate for Scuba and it covers your ears. If you Scuba, plan on your hair being soaked.) When I purchase a new neoprene wetsuit, I expect it to be snug, but not tight. When I put on this swim cap, it instantly gave me a headache from the extreme tightness. From the description, I thought this was an American product, but it is made in China. I do not recommend this product or this company.

The best I have found, but not perfect.
I have used many different swim caps and have never found one that is both comfortable and works perfectly to keep hair dry. This one is the best I have found so far, but you have top wear it tight to keep the water out and sometimes it's a bit uncomfortable if you are in the water a long time. Some of your hair will still get wet.

A better swim cap to keep your hair dry and safe.
After a few exchanges, I have finally hit the right size cap for me, making me feel that the dissatisfied customers are probably wearing caps too large for them or have not followed the directions in putting on their caps. Although it takes some getting used to and it takes a while to put it on correctly, I find my hair is now protected from the chemicals in the pool water. I'm still learning, but I find that most of my hair remains dry and it's just a matter of time before I master the technique of tucking all my hair above the band to keep it dry.

the only good thing I can say is it is comfortable
This swim cap was advertised that it keeps the hair dry, that is a flat out lie. I put it on and tighten it as far as I could...when I got out of the water, my hair was wet. the only good thing I can say is it is comfortable, but does not I repeat DOES NOT keep your hair dry.

My swim cap
This is the best swim cap I have ever worn. Usually avoid because too tight and hair would get wet. This one is comfortable, has a great fit and the best feature is my hair stayed dry. Excellant quality and well made. I plan on reordering . Best so far on the market. Highly recommend.
