...after reading all the great reviews I decided to purchase one of these-I wish I had not of bothered. My little one is still able to chuck it on the floor, he finds it difficult to scoop food out of too so he gets frustrated. I found it was also smaller than I thought it would be. I.e. the "ears" of the bowl. Would not recommend.

Really happy I got this. Has taught my 1 year old to eat from a plate and now when we use a normal plate he doesn't just pick it up and try to play with it.

Perfect for baby led weaning. No bowl to throw on the floor! Washes really easily in the dishwasher. About to buy my second Playtemat.

Please checks size measurements as it does not fit on my child's high chair. :(

I bought the Playtemat for my ten month old son. It’s really high quality, and we’ve found it very useful so far. We took a baby-led approach to weaning which means lots of mess and finger foods! This product is great because it sticks really well to the table, and is a good introduction to a ‘proper plate’ as well as being easy to clean. One of the best things about it is being able to take it out with us when we go to eat in restaurants and cafes as quite often highchairs aren’t as clean as you would like or don’t have trays, and the Playtemat means that my son can sit up at the table and eat from a hygienic surface. We also use it for snacks on the living room floor, and I think it will continue to be very useful as he gets older and more adept at eating!
