MICHE Anti-Humidity Frizz-Free Strong Hold Hair Gel 8.8 oz | For All Curl Types - Curly and Coily

When a product is good, you want to run and tell your friends about it. But when a product is GREAT, you actually want to tell no one and gate keep it for yourself. This product falls into that later category. Ironically it’s been all over social media and its vitality is how I found it. It wasn’t until my sister purchased it (she got the whole line actually) and read me the ingredients list that I set my sights on getting a jar for myself. Yall… This is my holy grail. I’m a self proclaimed minimalist, which means I try to more with less. As a curly hair girl, that goal always seemed unattainable because you need conditioners, moisturizers, gels, sealants. This product does it ALL! Literally one & done. I add got 2 be gel if I have it in a slick back, but that’s it. This is product is the truest definition of a ‘wash-n-go’. Not wash, moisturize, finger shingle, gel, diffuse, break cast. WASH AND GO. And baby, I live in Louisiana so that humidity is one of a kind, so the fact I leave this house with my hair wet tells you all you need to know as far as frizz. Nonexistent. The hold is incredible and I could make my wash-n-go’s last for days if I wanted to but I love a slick defined look so I style it everyday. I’m on my second jar and the first one lasted me a little over a month. Mind you, I’m styling it every single day. So yeah. Definitely worth the money. This is one of those rare few products where I will tell you BELIEVE THE HYPE.

This smells so good and works so well! The texture is similar to an aloe vera jelly type thing, but it’s not greasy. It has a great slip instantly when used on WET hair. My curls are super defined and it doesn’t take a ton of product to get a good result.I do recommend a nice brush (denman, bounce curl, etc) and then a diffuse session. You won’t regret it (:

Amazing! It is the only word I have for this gel. It gave my hair shine, and my curls lasted for more than 7 days. I usually get compliments on my hair. After switching to Miche, I got, "What did you do to your hair? It looks fuller and silkier. Usually, with my regular gel, my hair would feel weighed down and crunchy because I would have to put so much product in my hair, but with Miche, less goes a long way.

I wanted to share two methods I used with this gel. The first method I used was on wet hair only rung out in the shower. I applied by sections and brushed it through. It definitely did seal up the water and left no frizz and locked up my curls in its exact pattern with shine but the crunchiness it left when it dried was a big no for me. There was no softness and I didn’t like that. So what I did in the second method was on wet hair in the shower, I rung out my hair only and then I applied a leave in conditioner and then I took the gel and emulsified first (rubbing it in my hands and then just finger combing it through my hair). Method 2 did the trick for me. I styled my hair in the part that I wanted and then I finished it off with a good hair oil and it was nice and soft when it dried. So for anyone that got that stiffness I totally understand. Pics I provided was the first method straight out the shower before it dried and then the 2nd one is the day after method 2 where you can see the curls looking soft and still in place and that is due to the gel. It is very light weight and you really don’t need a lot so I think for the price point it will last awhile. Took a star off because you definitely can’t use this as a stand alone product.

A friend introduced me to this product and I’m glad. I can style my hair in different styles now!!! Finally finding something that works well with natural hair! It’s hard to find what works with your hair sometimes and this is good! Love the texture and feel of this gel! Easy to apply with a pleasant scent! Compliments on my hair and I love it! A little goes a long way so don’t over apply it! Will definitely order more! 😃

I’m not too sure how I feel about this product for my hair personally. However, it does give you curl definition and it does make your hair a little bit sticky and it does tend to flake a little, not much, but it definitely holds a curl definition. It also made my hair a little crunchy, but what I did was, I added some light oil to my hair which did help. This product is good, but I don’t recommend using it alone, it definitely needs some help to soften it up once dry on your hair. Will I buy it again? I’m not sure. I’ll keep searching to see if I can find something a little bit better for my hair.

I purchased this product after reading so many great reviews on it and I must say, this product is a game changer for me! I have type 4 hair (4b/4c) and it defined my hair effortlessly. It is great at clumping and defining your natural curl pattern. I only used this one product on my hair and it was all I needed. It also added a great shine to my hair too!Yes, this product is more pricey than other gels but a little bit truly goes a long way. This jar will likely last me for a few months. This product did leave my hair a bit crunchy but I don't mind that at all. I haven't broken the cast yet, but my hair is still moving nicely. This is the first day I have used this product, but I expect my curls to last at least a week. If so, then I have definitely found the perfect product for my curly styles. This product is definitely worth the price!

My LIFELONG search for the perfect hair gel for my baby fine, "mature" 3B hair is OVER! I will be stocking up on this because I NEVER want to ever be without it again! It beautifully defines my curls, holds them FOREVER (well at least until the next wash) and washes out easily and cleanly. No residue! I saw that many women of color have GORGEOUS results, but my hair is SO fine, I was worried it might be too heavy. Not so! Apparently this works for curls of all hair textures. For my ridiculously thin hair, I hardly have to use any (possibly 1/2 tsp or so) and gently work it through from roots to tips. It's like magic! My curls pop and don't stop.
