Perfetta Club Pro Bocce Ball Set 107mm Made in Italy

My seats just arrived and I could not be more happy.In my opinion the Amazon description is somewhat lacking so I thought I would try and fill in some of the gaps that bothered me before my purchase. Here's my initial review...1. The seats as they arrived are not as pictured. (close but not exact) My first picture if of what the seller says they look like, The second picture is how they are made now.. Note there have been some design changes over the years.2. The seat is extremely well made. Seat is rated for 400 lbs. Though that may not be a consideration for most, think about it from the standpoint of slamming over waves in a ruff sea or being on a pedestal and getting caught by a large wake. Nice to have a strong structure supporting you. The "sunbrella" type fabric has a nice open weave for breathability and it is well riveted to the frame.3. one change of note is the Amazon picture of the seat has the back straps mounting to the top side of the seat frame. On the newer design it is bolted to the side of the frame. Now, take note of what I said... "BOLTED".. Yes if the strap ever frayed or is accidently damaged, instead of having to replace the $80 seat, you replace a $2 strap. :-)4. The seat mount appears to be a 5" square pattern.. see pictures but that's pretty close..5. The cross member support tubes are also bolted to the frame.6. One reviewer here on Amazon took off a 1 star because the seats did not come with a closed down lock or strap. Well I guess they listened because my seats now come with seat closure snap straps.7. The seats come with mounting hardware. :-)I added a few additional pictures to show the quality of the welds and the overall quality of the construction. I did notice that the mount and seat are separate parts bolted together with nylon locking nuts. I work at a very busy pharmacy. With that said, we get tons of verbal telephone order from MD office as well as scripts on voicemail. I dislike the cheap generic pens that we have. Writing fatigue is a real issue when you have to write to the speed of someone reading doctor's order at lighting pace. The Pilot Dr. Grip is the best pen that I've used, aside from the G2 Pro which is also a Pilot pen. Trust me, I have been through countless different brands until I ended up with this one.It is a very beautiful and professional looking pen. In fact, my co-workers always seem to try to steal it from me! I love the size and soft grip which makes it easy to handle. The cheap pens are too skinny in my opinion to give optimal comfort when writing. The pen's weight is just right: it's not too light nor too heavy. Depending how often you use this pen, it may last you a year or a couple years. I tend to use this everyday that I'm working (roughly 10 hours days) and I had to replace this pen twice in the 2 years. The pocket clip is not as sturdy as I would like. It can be broken fairly easily if you're not careful.The best feature is the ink refills that you can buy to make this pen last. The refills are sold on Amazon at a very reasonable price. I buy a bulk order and it last for months. I normally rotate between the black and blue refills. Despite some cons, as a pharmacist, I highly recommend this pen.7/2019 - > 2 years later, I'm still a huge fan. It's all about the refills.

I bought this pen in the summer of 1999 after graduating from vet school, and it has reliably written many charts and withstood countless drops, spills and chews and scratches from puppies and kittens. Sadly, the inner spring mechanism finally appears to have failed and it no longer retracts. (I'm happy I have 2 additional Dr. Grips at home). I found the grip's size very comfortable for writing all day. Thank you for your years of service, my Champagne Mauve Dr. Grip Ltd.! R.I.P. November 2018.

Its a nice pen to write with. I find it to have a comfortable grip while writing and not fatiguing out my hand as much as a normal ballpoint pen.

I am the Social Bocce Coordinator at the Four Seasons Active Adult community in Smithville, NJ. We currently have over 250 people playing Bocce on Teams in a structured League. Over the past few years I have been getting complaints that many of our players could not distinguish the red from the green bocce's when looking down court. As our bocce sets were 18+ years old and very dull in color, I began researching replacement sets to use at the start of our Season in May. After looking at many different sets and vendors, I chose the Perfetta Club Pro Bocce Ball Set, 107mm, Made in Italy because they met all specifications prescribed by the Bocce Standards Association, the colors were vibrant and very visible, they were able to be delivered in time for our opening games, the price was right and the canvas storage bags were a plus. The 3 sets that I ordered were delivered as promised by the vendor and were in time for our opening games. We've been playing for 2 weeks now and all comments from the players have been very positive. In fact, you could say the Perfetta bocce sets are playing to rave reviews! I have been using the pentel energels for the most part of my graduate studies. Then a friend told me about how he replaced the cartridge in his Dr Grip to a V7 needle point, I bought one, The rest is history! love this pin; it is my, without thinking, go to pen, out of many many pens on my desk. Just needed a new cartridge in my opinion, and thank God the V5-V7 needle tips fit! I still think the Energels may wright a little smoother, but for the comfort barrier, I'm sticking with the Dr. Grip by Pilot.

A lovely grip

Pilot G2 has been insanely popular gel pen to the date. It is the elephant in the room of gel pens. If you believe their own packaging it is the #1 selling pen in America. I have used them for quite some time and all I can say is they are super-smooth and pleasure to write right out of the box. While Pilot Dr.Grip limited features exactly same refill as Pilot G2, this pen is specifically aimed at people who like bigger Grip. This is also recommended for people with arthritis and want less fatigue on hands. Pen is very well made, attractive and Grip is nice too. But, to me, Grip is little too thick to my taste. It writes well but may be I am not used to such a big diameter grip and hence probably writing is slow on this pen.There are several options if you like G2 refills like Pilot G2, Pilot G2 Pro and Pilot G2 Limited if you do not like big grip like this.

I want to start by saying I do not have arthritis, but appreciate that this product is commended by the Arthritis Foundation for ease of use. I'm someone who likes thicker pens due to ease of holding and less hand strain from extended writing sessions.This pen is almost perfect.Pros:- Many colour options to choose from- Made in Japan (see photo)- Thicker grip area than most boxed pens- Barrel is detachable in 2 areas - below and above the grip area (see photo)- Compatible with various ink refills. I personally prefer 0.5mm needle tips, and this pen allows me to use my Pentel Energel 0.5mm refill. Is also compatible with Uni-Ball 207 refills.- Slightly more weighted than most boxed pens for that premium feelCons:- Grip area is not squishy. It's a hard silicone-type material. If you like squishy, I recommend the Uni-Ball 207 Premier.- Grip area forms a slight U-shape inward towards the center, so depending on how you place your fingers, the grip is ironically not at the thickest part of the pen.- Could be more weighted near the bottom to decrease grip pressure.Overall, a solid pen if you're looking for something more ergonomic than a boxed pen.

I do not dislike this pen, but I do find the balance and ink smoothness better in the original the anti-gravity one. Generally, I prefer gel ink over ball point, not in this case, the ball point ink actually flows more smoothly in the anti-gravity pen. When compared to the anti-gravity pen it is the same length, but slightly more narrow, with a longer nib, and a shorter silicon padded collar. Where I would give the anti-gravity pen a 10 out of 10, this one would get a 9 out of 10, as it is just not quite as perfect.

This is an excellent pen that fits well in the hand and can be smoothly controlled, even with somewhat stiff, arthritic joints. This is the second pen of this exact type that I have owned. When I wore out the first one I conducted a lengthy search to replace it. None of the local stores carry this pen anymore. Finally had to Google it and got referred to Amazon. Highly recommend this pen for anyone who has difficulty grasping and smoothly controlling smaller barreled pens with slippery surfaces. – Doug
