Pioneer AVH-3400NEX 7" Display Single-Din In-Dash NEX DVD Receiver

Amazing head unit. If you are just replacing your factory stereo or want to use this as the centerpiece of a full system this thing has EVERYTHING you could possibly want. I’m doing a full system with a strong focus on sound quality and it has all the settings to get the most out of my morel speakers. Timing alignment which can be set for not only the driver but for the passenger or both front occupants so the sound Fran each speaker hits your ears at the exact same moment. Has crossovers for each channel to help your speakers only play the frequencies they were made for and individual level controls for each speaker and the subwoofers. Pretty fast loading times for dvds. Also there’s no delay threw Bluetooth like a lot of stock units so when your watching a video on your phone the sound for that video plays at the same time. This thing is packed with options,settings and features and does everything well. Worth every penny.

This is a great radio for older vehicles with single-din height radios. I installed this radio in my 1995 Ford F-350 diesel pickup, and I absolutely love it. The 7" LCD touchscreen is good quality as is the sound. I installed the external microphone above the driver door jam as close to the driver as I could get it - Siri works great and I have heard no complaints about noise when talking to people hands-free. The radio gets me Apple CarPlay and a great display for a backup camera. I installed the radio myself using Metra adapters for the Ford wiring harness. There were a couple of peculiarities with the way the original harness was wired that needed some work around, but even this was pretty straightforward.

Amazing stereo! I would recommend Update.. 7months later: I’m a iPhone user and this update on the deck is amazing! I truly don’t regret paying my money for this! I installed on my own for my SPL daily ride and by far the best deck I’ve owned! No problems so far. 03/10/20 update: The screen works fine. Buttons are still on. Screen still flips out with out no problems. Pioneer made a really good deck this time once again. The features are nice also. Focuses on the front/rear/sub “DB” levels. Update 05/14/2023 I’ve been having this deck for almost 5+years and nothings happened to it! I got a extremely big system in my build and this stereo does it all! I’m surprised the screen is still flipping inside and out haha! Strong deck for the win!

Very good product although it should be for the price paid I can't believe that the DVD version is cheaper than the version without a DVD I don't want the DVD I feel like it's more to break but that's okay the unit works fairly good out of the box with all the things I expect the tunner quality is good the audio quality is good. I was a little reluctant when testing the unit on the bench because it would not boot all the way up it would stop at the Panasonic screen I'm not sure why this happened I contacted their support and they said install it and if there was an issue they would replace it but after installing it I don't know why it worked perfectly and I've had no problems out of it since then. I do want to say that the backup camera cannot be activated from a video source being turned on my backup camera on my vehicle comes on when the vehicle is in reverse instead I have to run a wire to the power for The back-up camera to turn on the system when in reverse or I have to manually push the button for turning on reverse camera. other than that the Android auto works extremely well it is one of the only products that promise is it and it works exactly as a new vehicle does and that was the prime reason I purchased this item otherwise I know there are better purchases out there financially that do not have a good Android auto or have a mirroring of the screen I did not want that I wanted to full Android auto and this has it. set up was extremely easy the only thing I do want everyone to know is that you cannot use a long USB cable with the one that is included in the box it makes my Android auto come on and then go off continuously if I put a 6ft cable into the included cable that comes off the back of the unit I tried numerous brands and my phone is a Samsung note 9 with USB C.

Had to replace my prior in-dash CD/DVD player in my truck. This Pioneer works great and has a lot more features than my prior player.

I love this unit. I put it in my 1997 GMC Sierra and could not be happier. My only real gripe was having to customize my dash to bring forward the mic, usb, and aux, ports. I also installed a rocker switch to fool it into thinking the parking brake was on. Not difficult just time consuming. All the features of this unit work great and I recently added 6x9 speakers and a 10” subwoofer with an independent amp for both. It all works fantastic.

I installed this in a 2006 Dodge Viper. The factory radio was awful and I wanted to be able to use my iPhone for music. This stereo is awesome and allowed me to get CarPlay without cutting up the dash. I really can’t believe the sound quality improvement over the stock radio either. So far, exactly what I was looking for. Love it!

This head unit does it all.... Since there is no difference between the 3300, this 3400 and the newest 3500 models, why spend the extra cash on the 3500... The only thing is that connecting via Android Auto with my Moto Z3 phone is a bit of an exercise from time to time. Once connected this unit really shines, though. It is a good match for the F350 because the screen does not block any controls or HVAC vents. The screen also sits up above the dash making it easier to see while driving. EDIT 02.18.21: Regarding the issue with connecting my phone with Android Auto, the solution is to start up the head unit, start up Android Auto on the phone, THEN connect the USB cable. Any other sequence is hit or miss. Also, all this malarky that only certain USB cables will work is untrue. My regular cable works as does an aftermarket Micro USB cable with a USB C adaptor on the end. Also, I am using this USB extender t.ly/PkJo since I wanted a permanent USB port mounted to my dash.

Cómo todo Pioneer es bueno. La calidad del audio muy buena. La calidad de recepción de radio es excelente capta muchas emisoras incluso sin antena. Podría mejorar en el panel, es decir, si estás manejando y una canción tiene mucho bajo o distorsiona tienes que presionar varias pantallas para arreglarlo, esto es incómodo cuando estás manejando.

No es posible visualizar el DVD, apagado el coche, estacionado, no es posible ver el DVD, dice una leyenda que el coche debe estar estacionado, no en movimiento, que pongas el freno de mano, que lo vuelvas a poner y nada, no sen ven los DVD's. Todo lo demás funciona bien.
