Cocktail Muddler Bar Tool by Btipsy: Professional Premium Quality Stainless Steel Mojito Muddler (Grade 304)

I love making cocktails. Trying new ways to make beverages is something that I really love doing. If you make a lot of different types of drinks, you are always on the lookout for a good tool that will make less work of your work.My favorite drink to serve is currently Cointreau with crushed lemons, limes and oranges with a splash of mango juice. Friends love this, but hand crushing enough citrus for everyone is a lot of prep work, and it adds nothing to the presentation.I got the muddler yesterday in time for cocktail hour. I pulled out the fruit and sliced it up and threw it into a clear glass bowl. When friends came over, I took the iced glasses down from the freezer and poured a small amount of the Cointreau into the bottom of the glass. Then I served each glass a lemon, lime and orange slice. Now, here is where the magic happens. Because of the textured bottom, the citrus fruits were shredded by the muddler, letting the citrus oils and juice escape. 5 turns of the muddler, and it was done. I then poured my chipped ice over the mix, added the rest of the Cointreau and drizzled the mango juice down the side. I will be using this device to make grown up cocoa with spice and turmeric when the winter holidays hit, crushing lemons for lemon cream drinks in the spring and loads of other concoctions that I whip up. I had a wooden one that was earnest and stout but it retained essential oils. What good is that if you're muddler tastes of rosemary when you're smooshing grapefruit peels? Or mint? So when I saw this particular muddler, I thought, Aha! Somebody has solved the problem of flavor transfer. So I bought it and I have to say, it works perfectly.

Awesome Muddler. A great addition to my at home mini bar. Turns strawberries to mush and kiwis as well. Feels like solid stainless, heavy weight to it. The cocktail in the BTIPSY logo was not red, mine just came in black, instead of the red cocktail. Not making a fuss about it, or anything derogatory about it. Just an observation.

Great, solid Muddler. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is that liquid has the tendency to seep into the tiny gap at the base. After washing, it leaks for a while. Besides that, the product is great. Muddles mint, basil, berries and citrus with just a few strokes.

I'm a bartender and this was the first non-wooden muddler that i have used. it was awesome! It was so much faster than a traditional muddler. It worked fantastic right up until the day someone stole it. I liked it so much that i replaced it right away.

I haven't gotten around to using this muddler yet, but it is very solid. Does not feel like a cheap product. Hopefully I will have this for many years to come. Will update the review after the muddler is used a few times.

I absolutely love it, but be aware the "BTIPSY" logo at the top will wear off rather quickly. No complaints however as it has a clean look, works well, and isnt rusting or getting loose as others have in the past.
