Wonderful product. Better price than at the local pharmacy. However regardless of price this is essential for anyone with that does not want to get a large scar from a surgery. My wife unfortunately has had 2 major surgeries (one on her abdomen and one on her neck) and we used this stuff on her surgical sites and you can tell a dramatic difference over time. Keep in mind this does take time and patience as the wound still has to heal, but it protects the scar from the sun (important for scar prevention) and seems to greatly improve the size, texture and appearance of the scar. It won't eliminate it from our experience, but it will improve it. Anyway, highly recommend and worth the money! Hope to never have to use this again, however would buy if needed.

It seems to live up to its claims. However, I got a little nervous that it might be sticking too much when I removed it. I recommend along with my doctor, put some vitamin E or other medication on the area before covering it allowing for enough sticky area beyond the scarring. I like the way it protects from the sun which can increase scarring.

My plastic surgeon recommended these by name. The adhesive is great as lasted almost a week. I was able to cut these to the size that I needed versus paying more for a smaller size. Search around on Amazon and buy the larger size , it is a little cheaper.

Appearance is ok (I’m not concerned with how it looked rather then how it stuck to my skin). I read several reviews prior telling me how well these stuck to the skin. Some people were even showering with them on. The second mine got wet or I even sweat a little the adhesive would slip and it would brush off. To combat this I used a bandaid to cover the strip which seemed to work better at holding it in place. The strips actually work at reducing scars provided you can keep them in place long enough to take effect.

This is worth it. I used this for after surgery on my scar. Changing every 24 hrs. So it was a little costly as I did this for 2 months but it was so worth the cost because my scar looks so much better than had I not !!!

My occupational therapist introduced me to these scar bandages and were great and was told I could purchase them through Amazon. Very disappointed in the quality of this bandage. The bandage came with air pockets and would not stay on and the fact I paid 15.50 for this tiny piece is beyond disappointing. I reapplied at least 5 times to no avail. The ones my occupational therapist gave me lasted 2 weeks even after removing to shower or wash dishes and did wonders to my scar and was hoping this new set would of done the same. Save your money.

We purchased this to prevent a scar from a head wound my husband encountered. It seems to be working well so far. His wound is becoming more level and less discolored. My only complaint would be the price, but if it continues to work as it has been, it's well worth it!
