Yvolution Y Velo Senior Balance Bike for Kids | No Pedals Training Bicycle Ages 3 to 5 Years Old

We purchased the green one for our son a year and a half ago. When our daughter was too tall for the other toddler options, we considered buying our son a peddle bike and letting her ride his hand me down, but he loves it too much to part with it just yet. At 36 inches my 2.5yr old hasn’t been “gliding” per say, just walking it for now until she finds her balance, which was how my son was at age 3 when he received his. At 41 inches my 4.5yr old is on the smaller side, has the seat as high as it goes, and can zip around quickly and loves it. I would consider it safe- my son has only had two “wipeouts” and neither involved bandaids. I love that it isn’t branded with characters and bling. We easily attached baskets with zip ties. Because dem snacks.

Ok so, honestly if you dont just get off of a 13 hour work day, trapse around the neighborhood to figure out where the bike is delivered (with two demented children that are overly tired but also overly excited that the little brother got a new bike....) that then after an hour of calling around to all the neighbors to see hey, was my bike delivered there (it was with one neighbor, thanks USPS)It is now 8 pm. My nerves were shot. And I finally have scavanged the bike.2 kids so excited I swear they were human bouncy balls.Im trying to put the like 5 pieces together and they are running different directions with the wheels and I am on the verge of tears.They decide that playing with the wheels is no longer fun and bring them back and I FINALLY can put everything together.Im not paying attention to what I am doing. I glanced at the instructions and decide if if can fit on 2 pages I dont need no stinking instructions. (Remember brain fried)So i start throwing pieces together. (Like I said its like 5 pieces including bolts, not a lot here unlike other bikes I have seen)Tire one on. Check. Seat on. Check. But why cant I get the handle bars on.Enter tears. Both mine and kids.They are screaming about how they want to play with it for 5 minutes before bedtime but i am taking too long, me because I want this now 2 hour of UNNECESSARY crap to be over.Then i look at the bike. Man it looks funny. And it dawns on me. I am trying to put it together upside down. The handlebars wont go on ON THE WRONG SIDE and thats why the front tire wont go on either.IM AN IDIOT I TELL YOU.So, anyone that uses their brain and looks at what they are doing, you can get this together in 5 minutes flat. Kids love it.Does the job.Cool looking.And I am the cool mom.

Yep, all the reviews on here are correct in that this is an awesome little bike! My 4 year old took to it immediately and just loves it. Within a day or so he was zooming through the neighborhood... and that's coming from a little kid that had a hard time with a small bicycle with training wheels (it was a "Planes" themed little kids bicycle from Walmart he got as a gift; it was so difficult to pedal it... it wasn't a good bike). A balance bike as a starter bike just makes sense. As soon as a child masters the balance bike, it's seamless to go to a full pedal bike.The one exception I have about this bike is that the other day my son turned wrong, and the 'stop' that keeps the handle bars from turning excessively either way broke. The 'stop' is just a little plastic wedge on the backside bottom of the front fork stem. When my son turned wrong, the plastic stop wedge broke, and then the handlebars REALLY over-turned and kept causing him to wreck. When we got back to the house, I took the forks out, drilled a hole where the plastic stop was supposed to be, screwed in a decent size metal screw into the hole, and cut off the backside of the screw so it was flush inside the fork stem. I reassembled the forks, and the screw now works as the stop... and all is back to normal. With a metal screw in there as a 'stop', that shouldn't happen again. I was surprised as how little of plastic was designed as the original turning stop... it wasn't nearly robust enough.

I like everything about this bike. My daughter is tall to be only 3 and a half years old. She weighs 42.5 lbs and it fits her perfectly! She will have this bike for at least two years. My goal is for her to learn to ride it very well and the balance and not ever have a bike with training wheels. My son had the exact same bike in the color Green at age 3 until he was 5 and half years old (until about 5 to 6 months ago and I sold it to a friend for her son). These are the best balance bikes on the planet if you ask me.

This fit my 4-yr old perfectly and easy for him to roll. This is a nice color combination too. Oh and so easy to put together and take apart compared to other bikes that I had purchased.

This is a great balance bike. My son has a strider and he would not share!! I did not want to spend that much money so I decided to try this bike. My three year old loves it. It has wider wheels and they have a bigger circumference, this made it easier to balance and she can go fast. Now my kids fight over using this bike. They all say the seat is much more comfortable than the strider. For the difference in price this bike is amazing would defiantly recommend.

Adorable and fantastic quality. My 3.5 year old loves zooming around on it and even her 7 and 9 year old cousins have a great time riding it :) Adjustable height on the seat is also a wonderful (and necessary) feature. Really great gift from my parents.

Seems like very solid construction compared to other brands. It has a nice adjustable seat for growth.

The bike was easy to assemble and is good quality. i like that you can adjust the handle bar height and seat fir when your child grows. can't wait to see my daughter's face when she gets it for Xmas.
