UPDATE: It's a good thing I had the extra 3' of hose because I had another one of my original pump intake hoses spring a leak today. The 6' section I already used from Fibropool is still looking good and performing well! I used the 3' section today and it worked great as a replacement for the original! I am ordering another set of these hoses so that I have more pieces in case the last two original intake hoses decide to blow. I expect they probably will at this point, but I'll be ready thanks to Fibropool. I will be ordering the two 6' sections so that I'll have more to play around with if necessary. Great price and product! Thanks again!I had my return hose coming from the pump and filter bust in multiple spots. This replacement kit was perfect for what I needed to repair the problem. I realize it only comes with two clamps for two hoses which means there would technically need to be 4 clamps if you needed to use both hoses. I only needed to repair the one hose and I still had my originally plastic clamps that were used for the original hose. This hose was a perfect fit for the Bestway above ground pool (16' x 4'). The hose took a little bit of elbow grease to get onto the pump connection (pool section slid right on and was nice and tight still), but it wasn't outrageous to do or anything. It made me feel better about the sealing of the hose to the pump and I actually didn't even need to put any clamps on because it was a perfect fit. I tested it without the clamps and it had NO leaks, but obviously I put them on afterward to ensure nothing would come off. It was more of a test to see how well the hoses had been made. Quality seems to be much better than the original clear hoses that came with the pool setup. I am confident these will last much longer than the original. The 6' hose can be cut into two 3' sections if needed. It has a spot in between that can be cut in order to not damage or ruin the integrity of the hose. I still have the 3' section of hose as a backup just incase. The price for this kit seems reasonable since most other 6' hoses are priced anywhere from $12.00 or more. Getting two hoses, two clamps, the two different valve adapters, and the Plumbers tape is a good price in my opinion for $26.00. My local pool store doesn't even carry the 1.25" hoses anyways. I was going to need to order them regardless and it would have taken 2-3 days. I WILL UPDATE THIS IF ANY PROBLEMS OCCUR WITH THE HOSES.

Fit exactly as described and a good value for the money. I personally don’t expect my hoses to last more than a season as the winters seem to really be hard on them after being in direct sunlight all summer. Maybe I’ll build a cover for the pump and the hoses and maybe that could extend their life. If I do this I will update this information next year, 2010.

Low quality materials. The 2 hose clamps supplied are not designed for outdoor use. Those shipped began to rust within 48 hours of installation, both the strap and worm screw are rusting. The 2 1 1 /4" hoses are actually 1 1 /8" diameter and barely fit onto the tapered nipples 1 /2" distance with force. Forcing further would split the hose I suspect as they appear to be recycled milk jug plastic with color added. I give it 2 stars because they will work with gentle installation in warm weather and would probably survive 1 swim season.

Very very disappointed!!! I have had these hoses for 3 months and 2 day. Sadly i replaced the hoses at the beginning of the pool season so i wouldnt have any troubles. One hose split open about 2 weeks ago, the other hose today..... or yesterday not really sure. I am sure though that I will have to fill my pool back up and order new hoses. I am also sure that i have waisted my money and will not be ordering these hoses again!!! Its like they say you get what you pay for.

These hoses worked perfect on my intex pool, and seem to be much better quality than the ones that it came with, better constructed, or thicker plastic

It is nearing summer, and I needed to get the pool ready for the season. The old hoses have been looking a bit ragged and we’re starting to leak at the end of the season last year.This little kit allowed me to replace most of my hoses, (all but the vacuum hose). All of the parts were there in the kit to fix what was wearing out.

Just got them and they fit my pool perfect....my original hoses wore out and these are just what I needed. Quick install since all I needed was the hoses none of the attachments. No leaks :)

Thicker than the other options, at the same price or less. A little tough to install around the fittings from the pool, but worth it, as it creates a strong/tighter seal. Great replacement, or upgrade option even if you do not need to replace yours yet.
