I bought this after reading the positive reviews and have to admit I was sceptical. As a former hairstylist I've always purchased mid-to-high-end shampoos and conditioners in the past, but have unfortunately had to scale back on spending recently. I remembered trying this in my teens and not finding it particularly good but it's possible they've changed the formula since then (plus, I was frying my hair with bleach in those days and straightening it while damp so it may have been a lost cause...) My hair is thin and fine, very dry, frizzy, prone to tangles and now greying. The first time I used only a small amount and left it for 1 minute as directed, which didn't do much for my hair. The second time I really slathered it over towel-tried hair, left it for 10 minutes and rinsed off with lukewarm water. Wow! My hair instantly felt smoother and I could easily get a brush through it. I let my hair air-dry and this didn't cause it to become extremely frizzy as usual. Once it was fully dry, my hair appeared shiny and smooth and felt very soft to the touch. Upon waking in the morning my hair was even softer than the night before! But not weighed-down or sticky and dull as I've found with other heavy-duty conditioners. I've used it once again since then with the same results. The smell is quite strong but doesn't linger on the hair once washed off, the texture is nice and smooth and easy to distribute even on damp hair. The price simply cannot be beat for what you get back. I'm very, very happy with this and will definitely repurchase!

I usually have to leave a treatment mask on for 15-30 minutes, so this Dove conditioner seem to be worth trying; and it works. My hair after using this felt soft, had a shine, smells lovely, so what a find. Great quality, works in a minute, amazing.

Good, softens hair , works as described

After having my hair destroyed by multiple hair dressers, my hair was so dry and damaged with breakage. Those who know hair breakage and damage, know that brushing hair is awful, like brushing velcro! This is the only conditioner that makes my hair soft, manageable and not frizzy! It definitely works. It smells lovely, and for a leave in conditioner is a nice consistency. My hair will have to heal before I notice any shininess as it's frizzed beyond repair, however, it leaves my hair so soft and it's so affordable.

I dip dye my hair and the ends where getting quite dry and frizzy quickly - using this has made such a difference! Completely restored it and left it silky and smooth. Great value for money and would recommend

A good conditioner that leaves my hair soft and smooth. The fragrance is mild, which I really like, I’ve used conditioners before with very strong scents that I didn’t enjoy. Overall, it’s a solid product.

Hi Everybody, I received my conditioner, Dove 1 minute intensive repair treatment yesterday. I used it today in the shower and I love the results. I have shoulder length hair that I cut and colour myself at home. After drying my hair in a towel I could feel that my hair felt silky smooth. I dried it with my hairdryer with low heat and used a wide tooth comb so not to pull the hair. In the past I have had waist length hair and I think with this conditioner I could achieve long hair, bust length in great condition. My fine hair dried without any need to use hair straighteners. I could go straight out on the town. I also love that the conditioner is Peta approved, because I love bunnies, my favourite pets and would not use animal tested products. Go Dove, I also love the price. I beg you, try this conditioner for dry damaged, bleached over processed dry hair you will love the results, as I do! This is my genuine opinion. Its average. Does leave your hair feeling soft. I have used others and prefer them. It was at a good price so thought would try. Just not a thick and moisturizing as i would have liked.
