So great/effective, I am buying a 2nd set.
Okay so I have seen a lot of people saying these collars are not very durable. I bought a set in May 2019 to supplement my training regiment for my Great Dane sisters (not quite a year old and COMPLETELY INSANE WITH ROUGH HORSEPLAY OUTSIDE). The collars held up for 5 months before 1 of them stopped working - the other one is still functional. I am so impressed with the durability of these, as my girls are 110 and 130 lbs and they do not hold back at all with beating the snot out of eachother outside. The adjustables of shock and vibration are far better than expected and the beeping that the sound mode makes is loud enough for them to hear it over traffic, barking, lawn mowers, etc. I have just bought a second set (with winter upcoming I do not plan on being able to chase them out in the snow) and I have to say that these are absolutely worth the money. I charged mine ever few days, never had a battery die. Just the one unit failing as result of the horseplay is the only bad thing and yea, it laster a lot longer than I guessed.

Great pair of collars
These collars seem to be working well. I liked buying 2 collars as I have 2 dogs- but really only 1 needs the collar right now, so I can swap them out if the one I have loses charge. They are rechargeable, and the control thing is as well. Not sure about the range though, it seems to only work a bit closer. I tested the shock on myself and couldn't feel anything until about the 40-60 range, and it feels like a teeny tiny pinch, or like when as a kid you'd be dared into putting your tongue on a 9 volt battery. So it's not cruel. I only use the vibrate, it works awesome and strong in the mid-range. My dog reacts better and is happier with this than any of the bark control high pitch stuff we've tried before. The only thing that frustrates me is the buttons. I know it sounds silly but they're confusing as all get out when you wake in the middle of the night trying to stop your dog from disturbing neighbors in a hurry and your brain isn't fully functional and the button symbols aren't clear and you're almost mashing all the buttons just trying to figure it out- oi. Off the top of my head, having this product a couple months, I still can't tell you what M or Y does. But when I do figure it out, it works great. :)

Not for dogs under 50 lbs.
I have long used remote trainers to add an extra layer of security while my dogs are out and about with me. This set has been great as its the first set I have had with a vibration function.Pros:Sturdy and seem like they could take a bit of water.Good battery lifeDecent rangeStrong vibrationLoud beepEasy chargingCons:What exactly is the purpose of the flashing light I doubt I would be able to see it at night in my dogs furThe collars are to large for the shocker to use on my medium sized dogsOccasionally the second collar doesn't respond to the remote.Even when you can get the collars tight enough they slip.I probably will not purchase these again and look for something a bit smaller for my dogs. That beings said they are great collars for larger dogs.

Rottweiler Puppies - Great dogs
RottweilersWe don't use the shock feature. Never have been able to see the light. The beep option is usually enough to distract the pups from whatever they were fixated on.Sometimes we have to switch to vibrate and that usually does the trick, but only if the collar is not loose.Cons:. I don't love the remote. Also the dogs play a lot, wrestle around... Not even crazy, but the device fell off of one dog collar and is now missing. I would like the option to completely block (turn off) the shock option to avoid a mistake/accident shock (did happen once). Now I set the shock to the lowest possible level in case of an accident (i.e. bump the mode button to advance to shock instead of vibrate).

Good stuff
These collars are great. The reason I love them is because they have a beep, vibrate, and shock. The vibrate and shock have 100 levels, perfect for giving the right amount and not more than what my dogs need. I almost never even need to use the shock because of the vibrate function. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because I really wish that there were buttons for each collar instead of having to switch back and forth between the two.

Stubborn barker is on hush mode.
So far, amazing. Exceeds my expectations for effectiveness on my stubborn barker. I have had the collars for 3 days and am seeing immediate results on both dogs. One barks at everything that walks by and visitors and the other barks anytime when outside playing. (53 lbs and 42 lbs on 1/3 acre). I've mostly only had to beep them but a low setting vibrate on the one who barks at everything quiets her right down. I have not had to charge the collars yet, 3 days, but they've been working so quickly I haven't had to push the button much, the dogs are actually listening to my commands, especially when they know I have the remote but much better overall. Next I will try taking the stay at home dog for a walk. :)

So far so good
Does the job on my lab mix, I only have to use the beep function, but we are still learning. My whippet/catahoula mix on the other hand, I have had to use the shock function and she only reacts to it like a bug is bothering her. Apparently she is going to the the stubborn and hard to train one.

Best training Collar out there
I've used petrainer for almost 6 years. I ordered a new set from prime day and because the collars are now cloth and not plastic. One pup got ahold of a collar once. Waterproof is 101%. I live on the river and 2 out of the 3 pups are always in the water. Had a problem with the remote a few years ago and customer service had a new one of no charge the next day. I have nothing negative about this specific brand/collar. Picture of original one that is still going strong.
