A weight off of my shoulders
I feel much more comfortable knowing I have one of these in the house. I lived through hurricane Ike. They told us to shelter in place but then he shifted and went right over our heads, it was terrifying. We had fence boards rattling loose from our fence and flying at the house, power out, water out, street lights and electric lines down everywhere. And I was very fortunate that I am a person who stocks in bulk because me and my extended family were able to live comfortably in the weeks it took them to restore order. But this would have made things even better. We had filled out bathtubs with water and we used it for the daily things like cleaning, flushing, etc. But this would have been SO much better. I found myself not boiling foods because I did not want to use the bathwater or our clean drinking water for such purposes. I will be getting one of these for every tub in my house and for the houses of family I often go to visit.I have not actually used this yet but you can feel the sturdiness of the plastic and the box makes it ideal to slip under the sink or beneath the towels. The pump and its components feel sturdy enough to last against repeated usages. I suggest you have at least one of these too and I hope you never have to use it.

Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.
Took the pod out of the box to see just what I bought. Looks like it should work for its intended purpose. The plastic bag material is thick enough. The pump is just a simple siphon style, so it shouldn't break. WATER-check! BOOZE-check! AMMO-check! SPAM-check! Let the mayhem begin!Additional info from the Aquapod website:The AquaPodKitยฎ liners are constructed of 4 mil food grade Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) plastic. This material follows and stays within USDA and FDA guidelines. The standard tub holds 70 gallons of water, and to be safe, we recommend filling the tub with 65 gallons to come in under the tub line. It is not recommended to put 100 gallons in a standard tub. The liner is 40โณx80โณ and, depending on the size of your bathtub, can hold up to 100 gallons.

A must for every household
We are just coming out of the Tropical storm that hit Houston. This is an invaluable item to have when there is a natural disaster. The pod is extremely easy to assemble and use. When water pressure dropped and then stopped for a short time, everyone appreciated the availability of clean, safe water. It comes with an easy to use pump for extracting water, and the water has no strange taste or after taste. The pod material is commercial grade, so water can be stored for weeks if need be. My daughter said her AquaPodKit was a life saver as she and five others were dependent on it.

Perfect natural disaster kit accessory
Package said it comes with a pouch that helps connect it to the tub faucet. Was not in the box but it was still able to work. Hurricane Florence was safely waited out as we lived with this water. Dried out nicely after a couple of days and a hair dryer to air dry and re roll for next time.

Easily Stored, Heavy Duty plastic, Fast Shipping
*I live in Canada and am very impressed with the shipping speed of this item.PROS-Lightweight, and the box it comes in is smaller than you think and thus easy to store.-FAST shipping. I ordered it on sunday and it was here on tuesday, I was STUNNED!-HEAVY DUTY. A thick plastic that should perform when needed.CONS-A little pricey considering all it is is a plastic bag on steroids and some cheap plastic pumping equipment, but otherwise no concerns yet, if I have to use it I will update this review with the details.

This is a one-time use product. It's for emergencies. Not sure how people get angry that they can't use it over and over for multiple emergencies! Bottom line - if you have a bathroom with a tub in it place one of these in the back of the cabinet. If you are lucky enough to get advanced warning of an emergency use it. Suggested. I purchased one for each family member as well. A few of them thought it was a strange gift but they promised to store it away. Makes me a little less nervous.

Neighbors Envy
My neighbor told me to get this before hurricane Isaac hit and I didn't listen to him. Fortunately, the hurricane wasn't that bad and he shared some water with me and my family. Not only am I sold on it, it was really cool to see that you can buy extra liners on the company's website. I have seen some comments on here about the plastic being thin or bacteria growing...the bag is intended to be disposable after a single use and anyways, mold would still grow in thicker plastic. I don't know about you, but I would rather buy an American made product and spend $10 for another bag that works with pieces I already have than risk scrubbing a dirty tub or possible bacteria trying to reuse any type of bag.

You're not prepared until you have one of these on hand.
The aqua pod is a must for emergency water storage. Bought 3 of these; one for my bathroom and sent 1 to each of my children. It's well packaged enough where it can easily be stored in your bathroom or closet. I keep mine in the bathroom between the toilet and the sink
