A great read
I would recommend this book for someone wondering about the nudist lifestyle. This book does a good job of describing hesitation in trying the lifestyle out, and pretty close to taking the leap in to trying the lifestyle.

Surprisingly Impressed
Very well written for a first-time writer. Reads more like the work of a seasoned pro.The plot is pretty simple. Hailey gets the chance to go on a free cruise, only it turns out to be a nude cruise. She goes anyway and discovers a little about the world of nudists and a lot about herself. This book is more about personal discovery than naked people. The narrative isn't entirely chronological. There are a few flashbacks here and there, but it's pretty easy to keep track of what's going on. The author's style is casual and reads well without looking like it was written by an amateur. Too many of these Kindle books look like they're high school essays. "Nudist Cruise" looks like a real novel. My only complaint is there's a tiny bit of Chinese in the book. Not everybody can read Chinese. I don't think the reader's supposed to understand what it means. It's always in a situation where someone's confused and doesn't know what's going on. I guess it makes sense to do it that way. If you can read Chinese, it's pretty funny. The old guy with the apple cake was hilarious.I loved how each chapter title can be clicked back to the table of contents. You can easily click back and forth from TOC to chapter and chapter to TOC. Why doesn't every book do this? The free preview is in bold, but I think that's just an Amazon glitch. What I downloaded looks great and is properly formatted. You don't have to be a nudist to like "Nudist Cruise". At the same time, it's not at all insulting or demeaning to nudists. Recommended for everyone.

Fun story.
Could be a true story. The social part of the story could have been expanded. Althought the lead was slow to get involved.

This book may inspire a travel bug of a different kind.
When Hailey McPherson was living in Hong Kong, far away from her Boyfriend, Liam, who was working on Mainland China, an opportunity came up for the two of them to take a cruise. As a couple who rarely saw each other, they jumped at the chance. Liam would be filling in for a friend who was an entertainer on the ship – that friend has recently lost his father and would not be able to fulfill his cruise ship duties for a short while. The fact that Liam could made this the perfect arrangement, a short term gig that would enable the couple to have quality time and gain Liam some cash. What Hailey didn’t know was that the cruise in question was a nudist cruise. Born and raised in Minnesota, getting naked in front of stranger – LOTS of strangers – was not exactly an appealing prospect. The idea of having those same strangers naked around her was even less so. Yet she boards the ship, and her experiences, both good and bad, are regaled in “Nudist Cruise” for our enjoyment.Told in an inviting way, like a friend imparting a secret, this book reads like a well-crafted story, engaging and even funny. There are plenty of embarrassing moments, and a surprising amount of growth. Don’t be surprised if you want to book a Nudist Cruise when you finish the last page.

Nudist Snooze
Inoffensive and lame. Sort of a bland travelogue, with positive comments on social nudity. The depictions of what little sex there was were so scripted you'd think maybe an editor added them. Really not a story about a nudist cruise, more like a diary of a non-nudist who found herself on a nudist cruise by accident. Self indulgent and boring. Skip it.

not really a nude cruise.
More of a vacation story in SE Asia aboard a nudist cruise than a nude cruise. It’s what you would expect however from a non-nudist perspective.

Fun Read, Interesting Anecdotes, Good Description of a Nude Cruise
I really enjoyed this book, and hope others, especially non-nudists, will discover it.Hailey writes in a simple, candid style that's easy to relate to. Her anecdotes from the cruise were all interesting and her comments on living in China seemed quite reasonable and sensible. I especially liked her detailed descriptions of her special spa day, Thai massage, and shopping in China. I think I'd respond to the cultural differences she describes in pretty much the same way she does. Most important to me is that she got the nudity part absolutely right. Her nude cruise sounded just like the ones I've been on (except the kids, none on any nude cruise I've been on). I think she understands and accurately describes the social nudist experience.
