The battery worked on my computer but was not strong enough to see the screen fully (Blurred) however it was not compatible with my adapter although I could use it to run my computer but when it came to recharging this battery the screen went blank, which was beyond my limited knowledge of computers, so I am returning it. Another problem is when returning this the postal service will not accept this, it has to be returned by road service.

Working fine and easy to assemble.

Bad fit into the back of my Dell Inspiron M5040, it does not seat itself properly. Laptop does not detect battery unless I press hard on t to seat it. I put up with it as it gave me a long period of time when not on the mains. Now it doesn't work at all when the mains is unplugged, even when the battery is saying it is 100% full, it just switches off immediately. I have lost some important work because of this when the mains has accidentally been knocked out, Shame as It almost made my laptop mobile again..:-(
