The Seedlip Cocktail Book

Makes a change to be able to make sophisticated adult cocktails for those not drinking - make no mistake these are NOT Mocktails, copies of normal products without the alcohol...the recipes presented here are original ideas that you can be confident will deliver a quality serve for your guests.

delicious cocktails some ingredients are a bit harder to find but we loved trialling some of the cocktails. highly recommend for anyone wanting to explore their seedlip mixers a bit !

I only put that headline because I couldnt think of anything else witty and appropriate. Seedlip is a very good product, I buy it regularly and would much rather drink this than real gin, due to an aversion to the real thing. Its much more interesting, I think. Its not a cheap product, but it is inventive, its different and having the book gives you a lot more ideas about what you can do with it beyond just using tonic water. A very handy book to have.

I’m a bar manager myself so I’m always keen to check out new cocktail books and recipe lists from suppliers. It was actually a really good gift for my dad, who doesn’t drink alcohol from Jan to April each year and likes to try new soft drinks and Mock tails where possible. Really good for those that aren’t drinking or want to try something without the use of alcohol for once.

...but I still wondered if the seedlip was really needed. It also looks pretty time consuming for both. Nonetheless, book discussion party - themed by cocktail -currently loading

It's a fantastic book with really refreshing ideas. Please consider this book is for bartenders/mixologists rather than for home enthusiasts.

Price bit high, would have liked a tincey bit more content but overall very nicely presented book really. But depending on really how much you think you’ll use it!

I anticipated a pretentious book with interesting and diverse flavors; I was not disappointed. Some recipes require simple ingredients and others broaden your ideas of what a drink could consist of. If you’re looking for a quick generic non alcoholic (NA) drink, this book is likely not your best choice. If you’re looking for novel and complex flavors in a NA drink, you’ve found your source. I gave it 5 starts because it was what I was looking for. Extravagant recipes for diverse flavor profile drinks with ingredients you’d get at Whole Foods or Amazon.
