Air Fryer, 4.2QT Air Fryers w/Accessories Cookbook, Grill Rack and Tongs Black

I looked around for quite a while to find an air fryer and thought this was a good option based off of reviews and the price. It worked great for the first month. And then the heat circulator failed right after the manufacturer warranty ended. I got a month of use out of this item. Not worth the money. Don’t waste your time.

I have a lot of friends who have air fryers of various brands and the prices always scared me off. But since I like fried foods (who doesn't!?) and I wanted to try it, I hunted around for one that was a bit less expensive but still looked like a durable machine. This one works very nicely. I tried on fried zucchini rounds from my garden. It took a little while to heat up for the first batch but once it was hot, the rest went very easily and quickly. Don't overload the basket, leave space between pieces. But it really turned out nice crisp chips that were very tasty. I also used it on french fries - OH so good!! It does come with a small recipe booklet, but you can google or Pinterest a ton of recipes online. It is also quiet, which is nice. A friend of mine has another brand and it is really noisy.

So a few years ago I decided I wanted to start living a healthier lifestyle. It started with my cooking. I gave up frying foods at home which displeased the kids. They have been missing french fries and eggrolls! I decided to give the air fryer a try and wow, it is amazing!!!! I made the kids eggrolls and they love them. They are less greasy yet still crispy. The kids actually like the eggrolls from the air fryer more than frying them up in oil. Win win!!!! Now they can even make their own without me worrying about grease popping up and burning them or worse, a grease fire. I highly recommend this product for an easy and healthy alternative to frying in oil.

The first thing I did was chicken in mine. You know, the old way with skin and bone. My husband told me he had not had chicken this good since his mom had made it for him as a child. I will say that I spray the inside of the basket with spray coconut oil before cooking. The ease of cleaning this was unbelievable. Wiped completely clean with paper towels, I of course did use soap after wiping it out but for fries or onion rings, just a paper towel was needed. WONDERFUL ITEM

First off, one of three plastic feet on the metal grate thingy won't stay on. The defect is in the metal grate, as the problem persisted even after I swapped out the plastic for one of the provided spares. This is annoying, but not terrible (and granted, it is pretty convenient that they actually provide several spare parts for this). The metal grate is a pain to clean. I hate doing it. It didn't take too long for the black coating to start wearing off the metal parts (the bucket thingy and the grate thingy), and they will rust; again, not terrible. All things considered, it's pretty good--it's easy to cook with and the results it produces are quite remarkable (goes for all air fryers). The included recipe book is useless, and don't bother following their recommendations for cook times/temperatures, just experiment for yourself.

Overall I am pleased with the Air fryer. The large basket is a real plus, and it does the job nicely. Two quibbles: no tongs were included even though they were supposed to be and secondly, I have no idea how to use the grill rack. It's not listed in parts section of the "user's manual" (and I use that term loosely.) Am I supposed to use it to cook certain foods? Is it more like a trivet?

Adding this to my list of favorite kitchen gadgets!!!! As soon as I got it, I opened it up. Packaged really nicely and secure.I read the instruction pamphlet and decided to give it a go. Made french fries out of regular potatoes, and then made some zucchini fries. Both came out really great. Crispy, crunchy, and excellent textures. I love that it reduces cooking time, and reduces mess as well. Cleans very easily. I waited until the parts cooled down, and washed with soap and water. No fuss at all.Also love the little cookbook it came with! Can't wait to test out some of the recipes! Great purchase.

Here I am 3 months later after buying it. I used it very very very few times because I travel a lot. Early today I noticed that the machine was behaving weird, no frying as how is supposed to. Now after reading the others reviews I can saying that this airfryer is having the same problem which the circulating fan (component responsable of the Convention Heat transfer) is not working. I cannot hear the fan spinning therefore food is not frying at all, is more like a regular oven where heat is slowly transferring. I am very disappointed with this product since it looks that is a very common problem and seller is not taking responsibility. I feel scammed.
