If your car is on this list, buy this key fob (I'm not being paid by Amazon or retailer to say this)
I bought this April 26 of 2024, it is now March 9 2025 and I still use it every day I use my car (you can tell by the lack of images on my key fob, it's ok I know what each button does without looking now), surprisingly enough the battery I bought from Home Depot never ran out either 😉 Go DURACELL !! Anyway no complaints I love this thing, really convenient and hasn't let me down yet, I own a 2001 Buick regal ls btw, and the programming was so simple and easy. Hope this helps God bless 👋🏾

Works flawlessly if you make sure your vehicle is compatable.
Research your vehicle first! The use of this remote depends on your vehicle. It's not really the seller's job to check compatibility for your personal car and sometimes there may be issues. Most of the 1 star reviews you see for this remote are because buyers did not perform their due diligence and check on their vehicle. My remote even came with a little card that has a website where you pick your vehicle and check the instructions. I think it was programyourremote.com so you should check there before buying.Even having to get a locksmith to program it for me the overall price was still great compared to some dealership solutions. So far the battery is still good after a few months and it can be replaced. My only gripe is that the shell can be hard to open sometimes (I suppose that's a positive because the rubber seal keeps water away from the circuit board). I found sticking a butter knife in the notch and twisting works best.A few things I learned:My vehicle does not have an onboard system to link remotes. I think it may also have something to do with the fact there is no transponder in my actual key. So I had to take it to a locksmith and have it linked for like $20 bucks. Not the seller's problem. You could probably have a dealership do it, but I wanted to support my local locksmith... plus yours is probably cheaper too. Just call and ask if they have the right equipment. Not all car fobs are the same though: I called two and only one could do my vehicle's style. I was done in about 5 minutes. The same locksmith and research online told me to check my VIN. Apparently my make and model VIN can start with a 1 or a 2 or a 3. On my car only VINs starting with a 1 can be reprogrammed like this, because 1 means it the vehicle was made for the American market. VINs that start with a different number are apparently made for foreign markets like Canada. Also, if I lock my vehicle with the fob it activates the alarm system. However, my key doesn't have a transponder, so it will not de-activate until I actually crank the car. There's a little time and the vehicle makes a soft "ding" noise if the alarm is active and the door is open. But if you lock your vehicle with the fob and your key does not have a transponder: try to remember to unlock it with the remote. The alarm hasn't gone off on me yet but it probably will if I ever take too long. This alarm issue is not a problem with the remote, just the way my vehicle's keys are set up.Overall going this route was cheaper than buying at a dealership. But you have to do the research on your own car first.

Only worked for 3 weeks!
What a waste of money! This product was super easy to program, and it worked perfectly for about 3 weeks. I thought it just needed a new battery. When I switched out the battery it still did not work. I tried to reprogram it again, but it still did not work. I even took it to a few auto parts stores to test the remote to see if it works at all. The result was it was a piece of crap that had simply stopped functioning. Of course, it is too late to return it now.

Works Awesome! Easy Programming
1st. Let me say as many has already stated, please do your research on your type of vehicle before purchasing. I personally found this specific product to works awesome for my 2006 Buick Rendezvous. The only complaint I’d say I have is that it comes with a card with a website to go to for programming, that was a dead end and got me no where 😒 BUT! Due to me researching before purchasing I saw on a different website programming for that exact product, took a screenshot of THOSE instructions, once my product arrived, I followed the OTHER websites instructions(Not the website on the card it came with recommended) worked perfect the 1st time I followed the offsite instructions for programming. This remote Even allows me to use my back trunk/lift gate to open which i wasn’t able to do before with my old remote. I’m VERY satisfied. 😁

Good Value
This was an inexpensive option compared to getting a replacement from a dealership, even with the cost of reprogramming. The locksmith did find that the battery was dead but replaced it. So far it's worked with no issues. I may purchase another in the future just to have as a backup.

It was easy to program and works wonderful
I was skeptical at first but I was able to program it easily and will be buying another one for my husband and maybe 2 more for our other car. I have told others about it and they were interested also. Awesome product.

installed on 2003 Oldsmobile van
watch a video online on how to program it is a bit like the hooky poky but not that hard once you have seen it done.works well now that it is programed you have to have all your remotes there when you program because my van forgets them all then you have to reprogram them all only takes a minute each once you get it into programing mode.
