GREAT VALUE. Sharp, strong, blade - slightly thicker than stated, but that is a good thing. Comfortable handle set higher so your fingers won't hit the cutting board when chopping. Oh, and it is light and easy to control.

Good Value.
I have been using it for months and it is an excellent knife. When it comes to resharpening it, you can tell the metal quality is good. It's sharpens quickly and holds it's edge for a while. Cheap knives don't do that.

Perfect knife for the short chef!
This knife comes ultra sharp. The steel has a clean ring to it. It is surprisingly light in the hand and comfortable to use. I bought this knife for my wife who is on the shorter side. She says it fits her perfectly and its the one I see her use most often lately.

Excellent value for the money!
Not what I was expecting. I have decent knife skills from cooking in professional kitchens in my youth and have been known to spend hundreds of dollars for knives. I was just looking for a sushi knife to learn with as I teach myself to make western sushi without dropping +$200 on a professional traditional Japanese sushi knife. At first I balked at the price $23.99, but as I read it had a traditional wood handle - my preference - and was made from a decent knife steel. So I pulled the trigger and the knife arrived this afternoon. Was I surprised when I took it out of the box. It is nicely made, sharp, and balanced. It felt good in my hand and sliced through paper like it was not there. Before it arrived, I thought I would replace this knife if I decided to make western sushi regularly after learning, but this is a keeper. Cannot wait to use it!

Ich arbeite sonst mit einem Deba zum Fischfiletieren, wollte jetzt aber mal die "klassische" europäische Methode mit einem Fischmesser ausprobieren. Was soll ich sagen? Dieses Messer ist wirklich sehr gut. Es ist mein liebstes Messer, dass nicht aus Japan stammt. Erstaunlich, was China mittlerweile hinbekommt. Es liegt fest und schwer in der Hand und schneidet glatt und leicht. Über Langlebigkeit und Nachschärfen kann ich noch nichts sagen, da es immer noch gut scharf ist und ich noch keine Veranlassung gesehen habe, es über den Wasserstein zu ziehen.
