Recently bought this for my son's iPad and Xbox setup. I wanted him to be able to plug his iPad into the TV, allowing it to still charge, so he can remote play when away from his Xbox. So far, it has worked great. Its small enough that it can be thrown in a bag, just need to remember to have a long enough HDMI cable.

This looks and feels just like an OEM Apple product. I recently switched to a new Macbook Air and didn't realize it only had USB-C ports. I'm using this to connect to my external monitor and it works perfectly. Since it's USB-C you can also use it to connect your phone to a TV or monitor, but for normal laptop/desktop use it works great. Feels just like any other Apple accessory.

My daughter needed this device to display a slide show and presentation for school. It easily connects to the phone and still has a usb port to charge it. The picture and sound quality are great! For the price this little thing is perfect.
