True to size
I ordered different size because of the reviews. The size I needed was a small but I ordered large because of the reviews. I think I could have used a small. It was big on me. I'm a 32.

Great belt, but runs a bit small.
PROS:The construction is fantastic, much like a watch band, with solid 1/2" pieces and pin-held linkages. It's shiny, very pretty, and will likely retain it's luster for some time. The pins are about 1.5mm diameter, solid and large for a belt, and it ships with a few spares in case there are any issues. It also ships with a tool to allow you to move segments around, which is key if you want the ten available hole-notch links in a different spacing (and you likely will).THINGS TO CONSIDER:This is a solid metal belt, which is far heavier than most belts, and will easily pull your pants down if you try to wear it loose. This is a belt for holding pants up, not for show. If you plan on wearing it loose, you're going to want some heavy duty suspenders, since you're going to be supporting both the pants AND the belt. It also moves and bends easily, meaning every time you undo the clasp it will try to escape your belt loops, usually while you're occupied trying to keep it from pulling your pants down.CONS:The largest belt (marked 40") is 45" long from tip to tip. The buckle itself is 2.5" long, and the metal "tip" part of the belt is nearly 1.5" long, and hole-links have the clasp holes in their center. Simple math will tell you that having a hole-link in the farthest out spot will at best fit a 39" waist (and it's a VERY tight fit, as metal doesn't stretch like leather would). Unfortunately, the belt ships as pictured, with the tip, then a solid link, then a hole-link, meaning as shipped you will at best be a tight fit on a 38.5" waist. You can move the links, but it's a somewhat delicate job keeping the belt steady, while using a hammer and the tool to knock pins out and back in.I swapped the farthest back hole-link with the first solid link after the tip and was able to use it well on my currently shrinking 39" waist. Two more solid linkages would make this an actual 40" belt. I would advise the seller to either adjust the size rating down by and inch on their belts, or add a couple more links per belt so they actually fit the prescribed measurements. I'd also suggest maybe placing the hole links all toward the tip of the belt, as you can NOT wear this belt loose unless you also plan on wearing suspenders to hold your pants up. Ideally I would see the tip, then all 10 hole links, then normal linkages the rest of the way. If I find the time and patience, I may setup my belt as such eventually.

Get this Belt, quality says it all.
This is a great looking belt, I'm very impressed with the build quality, worth more than what the seller is selling them for. If your on the fence on your size, purchase the largest one available and you can fine tune it to your size. The seller includes extra pins, screws, Allen key and the pin punch out tool. It's very, very easy to make your personal size belt. What are you waiting, buy one before they sell out.
