This is such a miracle for my pitbull and I! She didnt like getting brushed with this other silicone brush we had. She would sit still for a maximum of 5 minutes then walk off. It was way too bulky and heavy for my small hands anyways. But THIS brush....my pit loves it so much that we've set aside a good chunk of time in the morning dedicated to brushing. The brush is amazing when it comes to removing loose hair. After a few days of persistent brushing, no more hair on my pants from her sitting on my lap, no more fur on the bed. Her coat is soft, shiny and silky smooth, especially when I apply a lotion after brushing. I'm sure I'll have a easier time in the bathtub for she looses hair like crazy. The back of the brush does a really great job removing hair from my pants after our brushing session. Might not remove every single hair, but it's a hundred times better than to brush it off with your hand. The brush fits in my small hands perfectly and it's very light. Just to let you know, I recommend brushing outside if possible or lay something on the ground when you brush your dog. The brush itself will not pick up the hair in the bristles as you brush, it will push it down. It's very easy to clean, you hardly need to even need to touch the brush when ran under water. I still wash it with soap to remove any dirt it picked up and so it's ready for the next brushing. Overall, it's one of the most best purchases for my pit and I'm so glad she loves it too! It really creates a much closer bond with your dog!

We use these brushes on our labs after swimming to accomplish two goals - the first is to decrease the amount of shed hair remaining on our labs and the second function is to assist in the drying process. We purchased two of these brushes and use them concurrently on one lab at a time to remove dead hair and decrease the amount of water held in the layers of fur. That our labs seem to quite enjoy the brushing is a nice added bonus but these brushes were mainly intended to reduce the drying time after swimming and they have greatly assisted in that process. If you are considering the purchase of this brush, please be aware this company offers different types of brushes for different breeds based on the fur length (this is why there are different brush colors). It is worth a visit to the Furbliss web page to make sure you are purchasing the best brush for your animal. We (both humans and canines) are very happy with this purchase!

I have tried every dog brush/style known to man at this point for the best brush for my pitbull. He sheds but his hairs are little and slick. The description and reviews for this brush made me optimistic, but it's still not great. The brush and my hand pull up about the same amount of fur and the furs don't stay in the bristles. It's fine, but not the solution I was hoping for.Updated - customer service saw my note and was so kind and helpful. Added a star!

This brush is magic! I have a pit mix (single coat short length) and a Great Pyrenees (double coat medium length) mix who both hate getting brushed. I ordered the yellow one for use on both of them.With this brush I don’t have to bribe them to sit still AND they actually come to me and roll over! THIS has NEVER happened before I got this brush.Bonus is how satisfying it is to remove hair from my own clothes, bed, couch, etc.I’ve used a Kong Zoom Groom in the past and this works much better. I found the kong brushes “bristles” we’re wearing down when I would use it to remove hair from the couch.I am going to order the red one for hopes that the “brissles” aren’t so flexible for use on my Pyr.This is perfect for my Pitty and everything else! Will definitely order again if anything should happen to it.

At first it was smaller than expected but it was soft and my pitbull puppies were not fond of it but it did the job. I use it daily and use both sides and I visibly see the hair come up. The only down side for me was that the hair sort of went everywhere and did not stick to the brush. If you run your hand down the coat it will come off. I would recommend to others. Most brushes bristles can be harsh this was not the case it is soft and can used when wet. Not bad for the price.

I have a pitbull, bulldog, lab, cattle dog, sheppard mix ( I know a lot lol) but she is short haired and has one coat (no under coat) and she sheds like the freakin dickens!!!!!! I mean it is seriously out of control how much she sheds. I have not been able to find a brush that works on her, until now. It is amazing it removed so much hair and she loved it, it did not hurt her sensitive skin and she can't wait to be brushed again.P.S. this did not work at all on my lab mix, who does have an under coat and slightly longer hair. Metal combs work best on her so this is definitley for short haired dogs. Do your research on what brush works best for your pup before you go buyin stuff!

I bought this on the recommendation of the groomer I occasionally go to, and boy was she right! I have had real trouble finding something that effectively removes hair from my German Shorthaired Pointer that is a medium shedder, and this does the trick.Unlike other brushes, he seems to like the way this one feels, and after about 45-60 seconds there is a mat of hair I can easily peel off and throw away. I do still use it outside, but if you are looking for one that doesn't put hair everywhere this would be a good choice.Try the larger side for short-haired dogs vs. the more streamlined one to remove the most hair. This medium size (yellow) is just perfect.

This is a very flexible brush and may be better for washing than brushing. Super easy to clean. Our dog does love the feel of it.

Works better than anything I've tried and my dog loves it!I have a dalmatian. If you're unfamiliar, that means unlimited, yearlong shedding of short, stiff hairs. I'd tried five or six different brushes and deshedding gloves before this, and I swear this brush gets almost as much hair out in a few strokes as anything else did in an entire session.My dog always disliked being brushed, so we had a daily routine of bribing him with a peanut-butter filled toy and rushing to brush him as much as possible before he finished. That changed two days ago when this brush arrived. My dog runs over when he sees me take out the brush, stretches and twists so I can get all his favorite spots with it and even falls asleep while I brush him! Yesterday, my boyfriend (who didn't know I got a new dog brush), commented that my dog's coat feels much softer than usual.The one downside is that almost no hair gets stuck to the brush, which means it gets everywhere else. But I don't mind cleaning up after since I know that in the end there'll be less hair all over me and my house.The brush itself is a very soft silicone. The shape allows me to easily brush all over my dog and it is comfortable to hold. I use the "front" side with the longer nubs all over my dog and go back over the areas where the fur is a little thicker using the deshedding teeth. The little nubs on the backside that are supposed to remove hair off fabrics work pretty well on my couch, but not so much on clothing.

I actually bought this just to massage my dog with. When the dog sees this in my hand, she runs to the bed and lays down. She absolutely loves being massaged with this, and rolls over so I can get every area. She usually falls asleep within minutes. It is small, fits in my hand perfectly, so I have good control when massaging.

Best pet brush ever for my short hair dogs! Well worth the money. But it's best to use outside as I find the rubber makes like a static cling effect with the fur and it gets ALL OVER the brush and your hand. It's messy but the amount of hair it takes off is CRAZY. Dogs don't mind it either. Even my Chihuahua doesn't mind It!!! I can't see this brush ever needing to be replaced but if it does I'll buy another in a heart beat.

It’s safe to say this is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I don’t like writing reviews but honestly I’m losing my mind over this brush. I’m still in awe over how much I am obsessed with such a simple item. I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback and his fur is super short, it’s so hard to find anything that will actually attract his fur and remove even dry skin under his fur. I’m so impressed with how much fur this thing took off of him it’s blowing my mind! I may sound a little nuts but at this point it’s the little things that make me excited. 100/100! Chefs kiss! Very impressed! Ok I’m done. Buy this.

This product works AMAZING!!! We have Ridgebacks and it is astonishing how much hair this removes and how sleek and soft they feel after!! 100% recommend!!
