Safe, Sturdy, and Truly No-Spill!
I’ve been using the Midwest Can 5 Gallon No Spill Gas Can for a few months now, and it’s one of the most well-designed fuel cans I’ve owned. The no-spill spout works exactly as advertised—fuel only flows when you press the button, which makes it super easy to control and virtually eliminates messes or overflow. The build quality is solid, with a thick, durable plastic that feels like it can handle years of use. It seals tightly, so there’s no odor or leakage when stored, and the handle design makes it easy to pour even when the can is full.Perfect for lawn equipment, generators, or vehicles—this gas can is safe, efficient, and reliable. Definitely recommend it to anyone tired of cheap cans that spill everywhere!

Great can, spout leaks
Great can, like that it has 2 handles. Spout leaks, only because it arrived with torn gasket, would like to know where I can get a replacement gasket without returning whole thing.

Durable and Safe Design
This gas can is built tough and doesn’t leak at all. The no-spill feature is a game changer, especially when fueling small engines. It’s well-balanced when full, and the spout locks securely. Makes fuel storage and transport much safer and easier. Great product all around!

Great Can, Terrible Spout
This is a very well made gas can manufactured with relatively thick plastic. The top and rear handles make it relatively easy to maneuver and hold with a full can. The down side of this can (as with all modern EPA approved gas cans) is the spout. First off, the instructions on how to use the spout are under the label on the front of the can and it is not obvious. My wife and I spent quite a bit of time trying to "release" the spout so it would pour. After finally finding the instructions we somewhat amazed and the poor design of the release mechanism. The instruction tell you to take the spout (presumably not on the can yet) and press the red release tab down on a flat surface until it clicks. Put spout on the can and, press the spouts black ledge (located just in front of the red release tab) on the lip of filler tube/tank you are trying to fill. As soon as you release the pressure on the ledge, the release valve snaps shut. My wife and I pushed repeatedly on the red release tab prior to finding the instructions, but I don't think there is a human alive that can press it down by hand. I did a quick hack on can's screw cap and cut off the locking loop that you have to press to unscrew it. I've done this with every gas can I own. I placed and order with Amazon for an "easy pour" spout to replace the crazy one that comes with the can and I would highly recommend that if you are going to buy this gas purchase one of the replacement easy pour spouts at the same time.

Broken spout adapter.
The smallest spout adapter came in broken, my luck that's the one i need. Spill gas all over my truck. Not save.

Gas can is large and works well.
Took me a little while to figure out how to use this. No real good directions. I eventually figured it out. By pressing the lowest part of the red button in you can then lift and put the black lip onto the edge of the gas tank opening and with the weight of the bottle pressing down it will slide the red button down and allow for the gas to leave the gas can. Just be careful and make sure you have it pointed straight down into the tank because if now it will flow out and hit the sides and splash out like it did for me. lol

Flow valve hard to work.
On & off flow valve on nozzle is difficult to operate.
