Tastes Fine
Five Stars. Mixes fine. Tastes fine.Honestly, a lot of people hate the taste of ANY protein shake and those people should be ignored when it comes to reviews.I've just had my first shake of it. Was worried after reading the reviews... Tastes better than most.

What you’d expect
Very good value for the money but obviously got a slight powdery taste and grams of protein per scoop at only 20g. Would still recommend

Three and a half stars...
This is a product where I wish Amazon would introduce half stars - four would have been too generous, but three seems a little tight. Please imagine a little extra slice of yellow above this review - I'm giving it an unofficial three and a half stars. There's good and bad to be had from this protein powder. Firstly - and quite important for a lot of people - it's ridiculously cheap. A tenner delivered for a full kg of protein is a good deal in anyone's book. Secondly, it's a blend - the jury may be out on this one, but there are many who suggest that this is better than pure whey. Mix-wise, I haven't had too many issues. Even stirring in a glass of milk, I can get this to a pretty smooth consistency. So - the negatives. A minor gripe is that the resealable bag has just one clip strip - my usual protein has two. It's also a bit of a swine to close once protein gets in the groove. The main failing of this powder is the flavour. I ordered peanut caramel chocolate - I'm a big Reeses fan, and imagined this tasting pretty similar. Once blended, the flavour is pretty much as unlike this as you could get. Its like how somebody would imagine a nut to taste if they'd never tried one before, mixed with that dry, dusty flavour you get when you empty the hoover bag and a bit flies up in your face.Still, hold your nose, gulp it down, and hope for the best.

tastes terrible
I cant even describe how bad this tastes. You get what you pay for. I bought this to do me for a few days until my usual subscription delivery gets here, because it was cheap, so i will force it down until then but after this it will probably just sit in the back of my cupboard for extreme emergencies.

Tastes bad but at £1.10/100g it's hard to argue with.
The upside, it's £1.10/100g for the 1KG bags or £0.90/100g for the 5KG bags. The first downside is that it just tastes bad. I don't drink protein shakes for the taste, but this is unusually bad. I use a portable blender so I don't notice and lumps or a gritty texture, but it does have an unpleasantness to it.The second downside is that it's not pure whey, it has plant protein mixed in, along with a bunch of other ingredients but it doesn't say the amounts of each.Honestly the price difference between this and the second cheapest is big enough that I might stick with this, I just really don't want to :(
