I realized too late after using the paper that I did not receive the Prestige Smooth Pearl but just the regular Smooth Pearl paper. The regular works for what I need, but if you need the Prestige Smooth Pearl specifically, you should probably try the direct company or a more reputable website to guarantee you get the right paper.

Excellent quality. I make note cards and greeting cards from my photos, and this photo stock gives beautiful quality prints.

I don’t print too often, but when I do, I print with Ilford Galerie

I have been a fan of HP Premium Plus Photo Paper in my Photosmart 8750 printer, but that paper is no longer available in 13"x19" Satin finish. I began looking for a replacement when I could only find a few remaining boxes of the HP paper for over $100 for 25 sheets. This Ilford paper has a great reputation, so I decided to give it a try.It's slightly heavier than the HP, but feels thinner due to the smoother back surface. However, it does not feel "cheap." Instead, it looks and feels very similar to the HP paper, but I think it may dry even faster. In fact, the Ilford paper seems to be smudge-proof before the end of the sheet hits the exit tray.The finish is almost exactly the same as the HP Premium Plus Satin paper. If you're familiar with the HP paper, you won't be surprised. I think there may be a little less gloss differential on the Ilford paper, so that's a plus. I can detect no difference between unprinted paper and solid black areas of the print.Also, I have read that some users have complained about the Ilford paper not working well with HP inks. I use a Photosmart 8750 with standard HP inks (lots of HP 102 Photo Gray) and have had only great results.As long as I can find HP ink cartridges for this printer, I'll continue to use it, and it looks like the Ilford Galerie Prestige Smooth Pearl is going to be my go-to paper from now on.

Gorgeous paper. Just like silver prints. Heavy weight, great feel and texture-reproduces exactly what's on the screen. I use a PIXMAPro 9000 and get out of this world results, I can imagine a pigment based printer will do even better on this

A great paper for all types of fine prints

I'm a nature photographer and ordered this paper for my first art show. I wasn't sure what to expect so I went with my gut and the reviews. All of my prints, including nature/wildlife in color and even city architecture in black and white, turned out excellent! The paper is well-matched with my Artisan 1430 and prints true to color. The combination of thickness and pearl finish makes this brand a perfect choice for my photographic needs. Although I was tempted to try other brands for comparison sake, I'm glad I stuck with ILFORD GALERIE Prestige Smooth Pearl because it ended up being a one-size-fits-all for me. I will definitely be re-ordering and happy to recommend this paper to fellow photographers!

I use this paper exclusively with my Canon Pro 1000 printers for many years and the results are fantastic with outstanding quality print. The surface is semi gloss and is very durable for an inkjet print.

Terrific all round paper for printing, and not nearly as reflective as glossy paper. Highest recommendation!!

Here is a lesson for you, when you order something check it right away. Ordered this paper, left it in the envelope that it was shipped, finally got around to using it, and upon opening it noticed that one corner of the paper box was dented in. Obviously this package was dropped some where in transit and since they shipped the paper box in a bubble envelope there was no way to see any exterior damage until the envelope was opened. The paper is dented and only about 20 sheets are actually usable at full size, and I am outside of the return window so my loss for not paying better attention, but the previous orders were fine. Anyways, paper is great quality paper what I can use of it. Shipping in an envelope not the greatest idea.

Good product and service

using these recently. Excellent colour tones and textures from digital camera source and iphone photos. Excellent Ilford product. Cost a little more than the usual glossy papers but the results justify the extra cost for potraits. Will buy again from the seller.mml
