My mothers old CRT TV went pop a few months ago and she was forced to join the 21st century (kicking and screaming) when we invested in a new Flat Panel TV for her. However, this new TV didn't have a scart slot for her equally ancient DVD player.Noting that too much change at one time would have been difficult for her to contend with (and would have made my life a misery) I opted to get this adpator so that she could continue using her beloved DVD player with her new TV. So far it has performed well, and has result in a quite life for all concerned.Ultimately if mum's happy, it means that the rest of us are happy.

A good quality product, it is easy to use, but please note that it does not come with a plug to connect to the wall socket, but it will work on a USB port in the device. Pretty good video and sound for adapting old technology onto new technology.

This was good quality though it didn't work for intended purpose.

I bought this as my smart tv did not have a scart lead, then I was lost for what I was to do, after buying a new DVD Player, checked Amazon and found this little gadget, purchased, arrived and you know what it was the easiest thing to put together, just connected my scart at one end and hdmi at the other, plugged it in and hey presto it was done, I recommend this fab wee gadget its easy and I'm 55yrs female not know what I was doing, DVD up and running happy customer

I bought this to make using a PS2 easier with my very high end hifi/AV system. Works OK, but disappointed that I had to purchase a mains plug with USB socket to actually use it! It does the job, but pretty useless for playing my old Tomb Raider (PS1 games) - the picture was so dark and was only made worse by increasing the brightness setting on the TV. I reverted to straightforward SCART connection to my Sony LCD TV.Summary : works, but picture brightness reduced and not really usable with my old PS2 games.

I bought this because my new TV doesn't have a scart socket just loads of hdmi's. But my DVD player is part of a Bose Lifestyle system that's around 15 years old...so no HDMI output.This little beauty takes the scart feed at one end and a HDMI lead (not supplied) to the TV at the other. It's powered via the USB lead (which is supplied) from a USB socket on the back of the telly.Worked straight outta the box no fuss.Cracking bit of kit for a cheap as chips price.Picture and sound quality is pretty much standard definition on my set up....no Blu-ray on the old Bose, but perfectly watchable.

Ours was faulty. Sound but no picture. Sent it back and promptly got a refund.

Ohne Vorbild oder Beispiel habe ich als Leihe lange dafür gebraucht auf die Ideen zu kommen, wie ich einen sich im Keller befindenden Analog Receiver Signals mit mein 4K Fernseher im Erdgeschoss per Funk verbinde.Skeptisch wie ich war hatte ich nichts zu verlieren, weil ich seit Jahren keine Alternative gefunden hatte. Der Grund lag nicht darin, dass die Verbindung nicht hergestellt werden kann, sondern vielmehr darin, dass das System etwas langsam reagiert. Man muss geduldig warten bis die Kommandos, manchmal durch wiederholtes drücken der Knopfbefehle, - und danach manchmal erstaunlich langes warten - ausgeführt werden.Nun habe ich die Verbindungen erfolgreich umgesetzt. Es funktioniert wirklich!

Da tempo il mio vecchio videoregistratore era parcheggiato in soffitta in quanto i nuovi televisori non hanno più la presa SCART. Ho collegato il convertitore tra l'uscita SCART del videoregistratore e l'entrata HDMI della TV ed è tornato di colpo a vivere ed a svolgere la sua funzione egregiamente. Con mia grande emozione ho potuto rivedere le vecchie cassette VHS con i "filmini" casalinghi dei vari compleanni, nascite e battesimi vari! Consiglio l'acquisto.

Trotz der teilweise negativen Rezensionen habe ich mich diesen Adapter entschieden. Die Verarbeitung wirkt ganz ok. Angeschlossen funktioniert das Teil einwandfrei. Ich verwende den Konverter um das Signal von einem alten VHS Videorecorder und einem DVD Player auf einen neuen OLED Fernseher (HDMI) zu bringen. Ich kann dieses Produkt ohne Einschränkung empfehlen.

Che bello poter rivedere delle vecchie VHS!! Prodotto arrivato entro i tempi di consegna, dovete solo acquistare a parte un cavo USB che non è incluso. ATTENZIONE, deve essere SCART INPUT - HDMI OUTPUT e non il contrario, altrimenti non funziona. (ne so qualcosa, purtroppo)
