Emergency Medical Responder: First on Scene (9th Edition) (Paramedic Care) 9th Edition

This textbook is great. I'm taking this for a college class and want to become certified. Its very easy to understand, has study helps, but I also purchased and use the workbook which helps me prepare for tests. The pictures in the book help illustrate how things are done. Highly recommend.

It is an updated version and lots of good information. I used it to teach a First Responder class at the fire department. It was easy for the students to read and the help/quizes at the end of the chapter are beneficial.

I think that the arrangement of the chapters is really bad. This plus the support from Pearson for educators makes it difficult to teach. They've atempted to take the First Responder book and change it to Emergency Medical Responder and the support is somewhat out of date. Maybe they are stillworking on it, but I do have to fault their arrangement of chapters. This is the book we are required to use, therefore I just mold the teaching to make it more "teachable"....Addition.... This book is still just as lacking and to boot, the price is now higher.

Great book, easy to use. The terminology definitions and index are easy to use.

This book is exactly what I needed. It is well written and has great pictures. Great book for anyone needing this kind of information.

Major liquid damage that was not mentioned in the book description. For what they charged me, SO NOT WORTH IT!

I had to read it for a promotional test, but hey, its a first responder book. and a good one at that.
