JOYTUTUS Hard Top Roof Rack Molle Panel Compatible with Wrangler JL JLU & Gladiator JT 2018-2025, Wrangler Overhead Molle Panel Storage Cargo Roof Rack, No Drilling(Not for Soft-Top)

I installed the panel in a 2018 JL Unlimited, and it was pretty straightforward. The three-piece construction made it easy to install. I installed the front portion, the rear portion, and then bolted the center piece to the front and rear using the provided bolts and locking washers. If I had to do the same with other panels that are single-piece, I probably would've had an awkward time trying to hold it up using one hand and use the other hand to tighten the Torx screws back in. Another benefit of the three-piece construction was the fact I was able to install the panel without having to remove any portion of my hard top. I'm sure the process would've been easier if I did remove the Freedom Panels, but I was still able to do it all from the driver's seat.The included instruction manual was easy to follow, although I didn't really need it. For installation, you will need to provide your own T25 and T30 Torx bits, as well as a ratchet with an extension. The product includes the appropriate hex key wrench and thin wrench for bolting the center piece to the front and rear pieces using stainless steel bolts and nylon locking nuts. The Torx screws used for the Freedom Panel brackets need to be reused.All large parts (front, center and rear pieces) were individually stored in their own bubble wrap. There was no damage or imperfection in the item I received. Additionally, I really liked the fact the manufacturer included stainless steel nylon locking nuts. I have nothing but contempt for the split lock washer and nut combo that many accessories include, so the inclusion of nylon locking nuts was greatly appreciated.The package also included a roll of self-cling tape (similar to Velcro's One-Wrap nylon straps) and a really long elastic cord. I didn't need them for the installation process, so I'm just using them to secure the handheld radios I have clipped to the panel from moving around.

This installation was more involved than I had thought, but I got it done. It requires pulling back trim and removing parts and bolts that are finely adjusted and brittle, so be careful and take photos.This is easier to install than other single-piece options out there because it comes in three pieces. The mounts can be installed first, but still, give yourself at least an hour or two.The sturdy overhead rack does not cause any head clearance issues for me, and I'm 6'2". I plan to install only a few shallow MOLLE-compatible storage items, a few radios, and possibly a flashlight. Although there is a small amount of play/flex when you push up and down on the rack, it doesn’t rattle or make any noise.I'm deducting a single star due to fitment issues. I am very particular about my Jeep, and I believe I installed it correctly according to the directions. However, the freedom panels make contact with the rack in two locations (see photo with arrow). I feel this will cause some rubbing and eventually mar the fiberglass.I'll do one of two things: either try again to adjust the front section of the panel mount to a more downward position (though I’m unsure if this will be possible due to the tight fitment) or use my angle grinder to shave off about 1/8" of the lip material and touch it up with some black touch-up paint. Regardless, I don’t plan to leave it as is.

Easy to install and fits perfect with t-tops on or off. A great addition for all your edc / shtf things!

Easy install, great directions. Not in the way at all. Have two radios on it, so it does flex a little on bumps, but easy fix; get a carbon fiber arrow, long one, cut in two. Mount to top of plate with zip ties 3-4 on each piece, and it is much more rigid

I had to modify (Drill holes out slightly) to get it to work with my sky one touch top.It fits and also goes under my sunrider top with out any issues. It looks good and the extra storage is nice. As described so 4 stars.

Product fits great and is easy to install.

Fits perfectly on the jeep and was so easy and quick to install. It uses the original screws already in the jeep to attach and makes for some nice extra storage right above your head when needed. It can be used with or without the hardtop so you can keep it on 100% of the time with no interference. Quality is made of thin metal to keep the profile low but maximize the strength of the piece. Definitely worth the money.
