WONDERFUL DVD BUY IT YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY
I have just watched both of the Costwolds and feel as if I have almost been there. OR the best I can get to being there. The DVD is very comprehensive with heaps of detail. I can watch these DVDS over and over and will do when I feel a hit of the English Mercia's Cotwolds which is a very pretty area of central England close to Bath, Somerset and OXFORD which is an area including Bath I would love to have visited.I have always loved Britain's history which I have spent some 15 years reading, watching their history DVDs. I have sound I quite often know more about the history of England better than some of the English I have met who are astounded at my knowledge.I know I will not ever go the England now but am always looking for DVDS about particularly England.I WOULD LOVE TO SEE CORNWALL, DEVON, DORSET, SUSSEX & YORK, EEST ANGLIA, KENT AND MUCH MORE. If Debra David feel like showing more of their great Country England full of and steeped in history I will definitely buy them. I checked I still have 10 to buy to have all of their series but I will buy those in the New Year. They are all in the box ready to buy.I enjoy these DVDS and sometimes have a laugh at some of their commentary. After a while they feel like old friends on tour sending back Holiday footage. These DVDS are well made. I really enjoy them.

Charming Cotswolds
We have visited the Cotswolds on many occasions over the years and feel like it is our "second home". We, therefore, love to watch DVDs about the area. Having purchased a couple of the Italian travel DVDs made by this lovely couple last Christmas, I was pleasantly surprised to come across this one on Amazon and purchased them both for my husband for this Christmas. We were not disappointed as Deborah and David covered so many of our favourite little villages and towns. We particularly enjoyed the visit to Sudeley Castle and the train journeys, both of which we plan to do next time we have a little longer in that area.I would thoroughly recommend these two DVDs for anyone who is thinking of visiting the Cotswolds for the first time and would like a good guide, or alternatively for anyone who, like us, loves the area and just enjoys re-living some memorable trips and thoroughly enjoyable breaks.

See Notes...
Narration good along with camera work having previously purchased 'The tour of Scotland' for my hard of hearing mother xpectations were high, I was disappointed with the absence of sub titles, I hope this wasn't a case of production penny- pinching A good product undermined by the aforementioned! Pre purchase information didn't tell me this

This is brilliant. I live in the Cotswold
This is brilliant. I live in the Cotswold, and it was lovely to see all the places that I know so well. It was well made. I couldn't be happier with it. The seller was very good. It came well packaged and well before time.

Superb
I can't imagine a better tour of the Cotswolds than these two DVDs. Living outside the UK an in depth visit to the Cotswolds would be unlikely. This production satisfies a desire that would otherwise be unrealized.Kudos to the Rixons for this entire series. To anyone interested in the beauty of the Cotswolds, this is a must have video collection.

Excellent
These two DVDs are entertaining and most enjoyable. The places visited are places that I could include in my choice of holiday destinations. The Cotswolds are truly places of outstanding natural beauty and this was brought out so aptly by the photography and the narration that accompanied it. The musical background added to the peaceful and beautiful scenery. The towns and villages are so "English"! Highly recommended!
