Jute Bag Fairtrade Shopping Bag

Handy size for a four pint milk container and a loaf of bread (with a bit of room left for more). Padded handles are great, no more having handles cutting into your hands. I bought two these bags, one for each arm, spread the load sort of thing. One bag had the bicycle design, the other the two foxes -- both designs look nice. The weave of the bags is a little bit loose I thought, but still they look like they will last. So overall very pleased with the purchase.Only grouse would be that the bag is 'open top', no flap or anything to cover the opening of the bag. I don't understand why bag makers think that people wouldn't appreciate being able to cover the top of the bag with a flap of some description. Why does everyone need to see what I have in the bag? However, that point isn't a criticism of the bag as it stands; you can clearly see what you are buying so no deception is involved at all.

This beautiful Fairtrade jute bag is handmade and the bicycle is hand printed on both sides of the bag by women in Kalkota, India. The handles are very sturdy and durable and the bag in itself is well made. I have decided to add a fabric lining in my bag for added strength. I love this bag and look forward to many years of usage from this lovely bag.

Perfect size for picnic lunch, fits 1 litre flask, cups, sandwiches, wipes, etc.Good flat base, jute a little open weave, but bag is very light, great bright cheery colour.

Great bag, I have a smaller one for my lunch each day. I really like the design. The bag is also very strong for food shopping, which why I ordered bigger one's.

This little jute bag is well made. The colour and the fox design on the one I purchased s very nice.
