Used for its aromatherapy. I use a few drops in the car and it smells so fresh, unlike any conventional car freshener. I use just 2 drops in the toilet and it smells amazing! ...and not overpowering but I CAN smell it outside the bathroom door when I walk by. Lots of companies make basil oil, and they should all smell the same, but I'm not taking any chances.

This arrived with a broken cap, but the rubber part was still intact, so no leaks! It does make it really hard to remove the bottle cap. It was in it's own box, so I'm assuming it was a return or it was packed with a broken cover. The box was totally fine. Other than that, the item is good and the price is much better on these large bottles. It smells the same as dried basil smells, a little bit sweet. update: tried it in a diffuser. Smells like black licorice to the family. Nobody likes it. We would not buy again.
