I bought this lead for my large breed puppy purely because the carabiner style clip was big enough to take the double rings on his collar. The lead is very well made and undoubtedly strong but very cumbersome to use and I would consider it way too heavy for anything smaller than a medium/large dog. The handle is too wide and stiff for smaller hands and cuts in, the second handle is too far along the lead and is difficult to grab because of the rigid rubber, and the lead is just way too long for good control of a bouncy, silly, puppy. I would much brefer the handle (and maybe six inches beyond) to be the stretch part (as it would be way more comfortable) and the second handle should be a more open loop about half way along the lead. if the lead was 1 metre at full stretch it would give much better control.

I've been looking at getting a lead with a bungee section for a little while and came across this one. It looked solid and well reviews so went for it. It's fair to say that even with the positive reviews, I was still pleasantly surprised. You can really tell it's a solid piece of kit. My dog likes to pull a bit, and the bungee section makes it much more comfortable when she does.

Love the clip on this lead,very sturdy and even has a safety lock on it. The handle for walking at the road side is also really good and it's the perfect height for a medium to large dog. The thick bungie on the lead helps reduce the impact if your dog pulls which I really like. Very impressed with the lead and would definatly recommend

I like that the lead is really well made and that the clasp is heavy duty. Great to see the reflective stitching working on the dark nights

Prior to purchasing this I had a near fatal incident where me Greyhound escaped after the normal clip lead released randomly while we were out walking close by a busy 50 mph road. This was probably a freak incident and one that may not ever arise again however with this happening it made me want to ensure that I had the best lead possible for the future where there would be no risk of any accidents. The lead takes a little getting used to (springy) however there after it is actually really good. There is no chance of it unclipping as you have an added locking component which clicks into place.

I bought this lead for my boxer who has a tendancy to lunge when she sees other dogs, cats or squirrels, and if taken by surprise it was quite a jolt. This lead takes away that sudden jolt at these times. It doesn't stop pulling but certainly makes walking a lot more comfortable. The lead is extremely well made and strong with a very secure clip, and the extra handle at the bottom of the lead is very handy for when I need to have close control of my dog. All in all a very good lead that I highly recommend.

This lead is exactly what I wanted! I have a very strong English pointer who pulls my arm off, we use this lead with a face harness and it’s great! The bungee means his pulling isn’t as intense and love having two different handles depending where we are walking! Best part and the whole reason I purchased the lead was for the clasp, that safety clasp is amazing! Makes me feel so much safer (as my dog rolls on the floor and managed to unclip his other leads) so this is perfect!

A really good lead. Has 3 metal loops so you can attach leads & whatever else & a good length. I put mine round my neck when my boy is off lead using one of the loops to clip too. Very good quality clasp. The rubberised stretch thing on it takes a bit of getting used to but all round a good lead
