My first foray into homemade nut milk. After much mirth over Mum buying a "nut bag" and many questions and hilarity from my teenagers I rolled up my sleeves to get serious about making fresh almond milk. The bag is made from nylon and after a quick and easy wash before use, it filtered the liquids from the freshly ground almond solids. The bag is sewn without square corners rather like a more oval shaped bottom seam; presumably so particles cannot get trapped and to facilitate a more hygienic clean up. Once all the liquid has filtered through it requires that the remainder be squeezed. Fortunately this nut bag is solidly constructed and can easily withstand a good squeeze!The resulting yield of freshly made almond milk was surprisingly delicious. I intend to use my new nut bag often because home made tastes way better than store bought.Clean up was really a breeze, turn inside out and wash thoroughly in the sink with liquid detergent, rinse and hang to dry. Because it's nylon it dries super fast. Very happy with purchase, highly recommend, it's a fun activity.

Love being able to make my own almond milk. It saves me money and I know what goes into it. This bag is super easy to use and also really easy to clean, which surprised me, considered we're talking about pouring finely ground nuts into it. I love it!

Great. This is finally the bag I was looking for. It's strong, actually I would say very strong since I was pushing pretty hard in squeezing out the juice from the lemon rinds I used to make limoncello. The seems are still intact and it was really easy to clean.Would definitely recommend and may buy some more soon.

This nut bag sure met my expectation. The quality is really good. It is so much easier and faster than a cheesecloth to make almond milk. Will buy again.

I am reluctant to give it 5 stars only because I haven't had a chance to actually use it, yet! I've been way too busy.But, that said, this is a beautiful thing! I am anxious to use it when I get time. I've always used cheesecloth, with mixed results. There's no way that this material is going to develop wider holes or split apart from regular use. This is some seriously tough material.I'm a tiny bit worried about the seam maybe coming loose at the one corner after a lot of use, but I might just be being ridiculous. I pulled on it pretty hard, and it's not budging.As I said, I haven't been able to use it yet, but this also looks like it's going to be SUPER easy to clean. I'm hoping to make some firm tofu and really put this through it's paces. It's promising.

I have purchased a lot of different bags to strain my nut milk and they all have failed in one way or another; splitting at the seams when I squeeze, not straining enough pulp out, hard to get clean, etc. This one is amazing and has made making alternate milk for my kid a breeze.
