When I first tried this with my cat,Louie, he refused to eat it when mixed with canned food, and spit out when I popped a capsule into his mouth.But, somehow he has changed his mind. I saw him trying to eat a larger capsule , intended for a dog.Now I include one of these capsules in his canned food twice a week, and it seems to be helping him. His hair had become patchy, with a lot of bare spots. He is almost completely back to normal.Best thing I could have done for my cat, who was going bald and is now fully recovered. And, he actually loves the stuff.

I bought these tablets to help my pup with peeling nails. I was afraid if the nails peeled a certain way, they could snag on something while walking and could rip off her nail. The vet recommended fish oil to help with the issue. I do think her nails don't peel like before, but what is most apparent is her bright and shiny coat! While the jury is still out about her nails, I'm very happy to see such luxuriant fur.

It's not stinky as far as I know but. I don't poke the capsules. Our dogs just take them. Other fish pills have given them very bad fish breath. These don't. But the recommended dose seems off. Since 20 mg per lb is what is what is required and these are 500mg per capsule, why would I give a 5-10 lb dog 2 capsules per day? It's not good to give them too much.

I have a small 6 year old female miniature pinscher and noticed her coat was dull and getting patchy - but knew there wasn't any issue with allergies or fleas and my vet recommended an Omega 3 supplement. I found these and decided to give them a shot. She absolutely loves them - she gets extremely excited whenever I tell her it's time to take her medicine and she likes to play with her first one each day for about 10 minutes before she finally decides to eat and come begging for the second one. It's only been shy of two weeks but this morning I noticed she is much softer and shinier and her patches already seem to be starting to regrow. She's also extra playful so I believe these are helping her joints as well. Very happy with the product all around and especially at this price!

I cannot tell if the salmon oil is working, neither dog is itching more, but they do still itch. The new rescue that came with bald spots has filled in, and not had any more appear. I do have to puncture them and squeeze onto food...they will not swallow the capsules. For that reason I will purchase oil if I continue use

After a week of adding this to my dog’s arthritis regiment I am totally noticing a difference in our walks! We now go for one and a half hour walks before he gets tired. He is like a pup again! Thank you!!!

I have to say I was happy when got these for my pet. They are right size .Not too big or too small..And No fishy smell.Thank you for a great product with a great price.

Little Pom needs three capsules a day? He spits them out, even in Pill Pockets, and refuses food with the oil on it. If he bit into a capsule there would be a greasy stinking mess.
