DC 12-24V In-Line Circuit Breaker Fuse Auto Car Stereo/Audio Protection (60AMP)

Do not use these if you have higher than average engine bay temperatures (whatever average is) I installed this under the hood of my 2015 Jeep Wrangler and as any Wrangler owner will tell you, they get a little hot under the hood. The heat caused this unit to completely fail. I had it hooked to an air compressor that only has a 23 Amp draw and in fact the compressor never even kicked on while this breaker was installed. When it came time for it ti come on... NOTHING! I checked the breaker and it was tripped, well permanently tripped. The reset lever would just flop back and forth, it seemed to have no connection to the inside anymore. I tried this again with the 100 Amp version of this breaker with nothing wired to it. Same result after having it under the hood for a few hours, again, with nothing wired to it!
