Inexpensive and works great. Tough combination to beat.
Where was this tool years ago? This thing WORKS! I see a few who say it worked once or twice and then stopped. I would suggest that they clean out the plastic and use the ejection mechanism. Once I figured it out (it wasn't hard), this thing is a dream! I use it for putting up 10mil plastic in the crawl space, "nailing" the plastic to the cinderblock. I use it in 1st gear (as it comes). PERFECT. I have glasses, so I didnt use these supplied. You will want to use the ear plugs, and these are very good ones. I had them on at first and when I used it I was thinking "this isn't loud". WOW, was I wrong! The second use of it I'd forgotten to put in the ear plugs. *BAM* was much louder than I expected. USE THE EAR PLUGS.

Worked perfectly
Encapsulating my crawl space and did not want to pay for an expensive Hilti gun. Found this lower priced model. This gun was exceptional in enabling me to nail thick vapor barrier to the cinder block walls. Over 200 nails and still going strong. Highly recommend for similar jobs.

Loud and potentially dangerous; of limited use to me.
Read the directions; wear hearing and eye protection. Don't mess around with this thing. Keep your wits when it barks. Bite would be much worse if it bit you. Keep children and onlookers away from your work/assembly area. I ain't kiddin'. Scared the pee out of me the first time i used it.The nails are short and of limited usage. Need 1 by lumber or something less thick to attach to concrete. Does not drive through 2 by material to concrete. Great for attaching wanted posters to walls, but other than that, might not suit your need. Take a look at that nail length and know that the head stops at the pine board surface. Might be good for attaching aluminum channel to concrete or block, attaching hooks and hangers to concrete - that sort of thing. But i'm finding that this tool doesn't meet my immediate needs. Be aware.
