Didnt work exactly as described
The cable was a perfect fit. Powered the tuner. When I pressed Tune on my LDG it was supposed to trigger the 7300 to drop the output, change modes and emit a tone to tune with. For some reason this never happened. Returned for a refund

Cable blew up my radio
Company made good by paying for the radio repair, but I also returned the cable and they didn't refund that. I still need a cable.

Very convenient when using with Icom IC-7300
It works as advertised. I like that the proper amperage is provided from the 7300 to power the LDG 1000 tuner. Some other brands of tuners need to have their own wall wart or 12v community supply for the proper current.The power feature is secondary though, to the fact that the auto tuning with the press of a button on the 7300 works great and the communication between the two machines is perfect.
