Good budget projector IF you’re not a gamer
Good build (aluminum feels thin and cheap but it does make the projector light), nice brightness, good colors, smart functionality is solid. I like how the lens is recessed about 2 inches so it’s harder to smudge the lens. It has a tripod mount which is super convenient, plus comes with a carrying case. The auto focusing and auto keystone is OK sometimes, but I actually recommend turning these off in the settings menu since every time you bump the projector it’s gonna recalibrate and it gets annoying. Just set it manually and forget it.Unfortunately input lag is rather high, about 50ms (+/- 16ms) or more from my by-no-means-scientific testing (see photo), which is too high for gaming. Really felt like I was dragging my in-game character with a 10 foot thread. In casual, non-graphics-intensive games like Overcooked, the delay wasn’t as perceptible, but with more demanding games that already have input lag from the console’s processing, the projectors lag compounds on the console’s and the increased lag becomes more noticable (eg some AAA titles that are graphics intensive have may be 30 to 50 ms of input lag from the console, which may not be noticeable by itself, but once you add the projectors input lag it becomes ~80ms which is more noticable).Overall though, if you’re in the market for a budget projector and don’t play games, this is a great choice. If I didn’t play games, I would 100% keep this. Also, because this is new, I can’t really speak to the longevity, so I would recommend getting the extended Amazon warranty coverage since ELEPHAS as a company seems a little sketchy (their official website doesn’t even list projector yet.)

Defective and no real warranty. Amazon is a pain
The company has NO warranty. Returning a defective unit is a really difficult. My unit will not connect to wifi after I turn it off. I literally have to perform a factory reset every time I turn it off.

Excellent overall viewing experience!
The media could not be loaded. I have had this projector for a few weeks now and feel comfortable offering a review of it. This is my 5th projector. If you want to read about the others then I left a review of the Elephas W1K a couple of weeks ago on Amazon. I have described them all in that review.I bought this unit a little bit after I purchased the W1K model. This model advertises slightly increased brightness (1200 ansi lumens versus 1000 for the W1K). My thought process was that since I enjoy the W1K so much then adding some brightness to an already excellent image can only increase my enjoyment.I have not been disappointed. The images between the two are extremely similar. The image on this projector actually appears slightly "smoother", for lack of a better term, compared to the W1K. I do not know how else to describe it. Maybe the image processing is slightly better on this model. The W1K already has excellent image quality in my opinion so stating that this unit is slightly better actually says something. I had planned on doing a side by side on my projector screen but have not gotten around to it yet. Maybe I will do it at a later date and edit this review.Anyway, everything positive that I had to say about the W1K applies to this model as well. Image quality is excellent. Great brightness, contrast, detail and color. The speakers sound good (definitely loud enough if you want them to be) and the UI is identical, and therefore easy to use. I have setup all of the apps on this unit but, just like with the W1K, I don't really use them as I have the projector connected to my AVR for sound and video. The attached video was taken about a week after I received and setup the projector. It is on an inexpensive 120 inch XIAOHUI ALR projector screen in my living room. I have to say that if you have the opportunity then definitely get an ALR screen instead of the standard white screens. The ALR screen makes all the difference compared to the inexpensive white foldable or manual pull-down screens that you can purchase. The increased brightness and contrast is game changing when it comes to image quality. I only paid $30-something for mine and it has metal bars across the top and bottom so that when you hang it then the screen stays in shape with very little wrinkles or creases. One last bit of advice, when you read the reviews of this projector here on Amazon then keep in mind that many of the reviews aren't of this projector. They are of other Elephas models and, judging by the comments, much less expensive and lesser quality models. There is absolutely no way anyone would every think this projector is dim or that it isn't 1080p. The attached video speaks for itself.Oh, and be patient when planning to buy. I paid literally half price for this projector (around $160 if I remember correctly). There are promotional codes that seem to come and go on a regular basis.
