Can the opening on this carrier be switched to the passenger side of vehicle?

Yes, when you put it together, you have the option of assembling it with the ramp opening from either the driver or the passenger side of vehicle. It can be reconfigured afterwards with a little back-tracking, if needed.

I read on another carrier that the vehicle could not go above 40mph while using the carrier. Does this one have a limit on how fast you can drive?

I’ve had my mobility cart on this carrier to over 90 mph. Didn’t even know it was there. Just make sure you fasten it securely. I put “soft tie loops” around back u dear and around the frame. I tied a quick release to those. (Didn’t use a hook) then I drilled and put some stainless one hole tabs for tie downs. Cut the tie down to my exact length I needed. It fastens securely. But I also use one orange bungee corn on the ramp just in case the pins come out.

Is it light enough for an one average man to move, attach, and detach?

Yes, 1 person can it. I would recommend putting a crate by the hitch, place it on the crate and then line it up and attach.

Do you have any carriers with ramps on the driver's side of the camp?

The unit I bought can be assembled for the ramp to be on either side. All pictures show it with the ramp on the passenger side but it is possible to assemble it with the ramp on the driver side.
