Honeywell Double Blade 16 Pedestal Fan Black With Remote Control, Oscillation, Auto-Off & 3 Power Settings

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this fan back in the beginning of March and a week later purchased another one. I waited to leave a review because I wanted to really be able to put it to the test. Alot of people live in places that get hot in the summer but do you live in THE HOTTEST city in the U.S.? Well I do. Seeing reviews from other Arizonans is what made me purchase this fan. My lasko wind machines have held up well but i wanted something oscillating. I'm so glad I made this purchase. I'm not sure how the fans may hold up in a large house but for an apt/condo it really does the job. It's powerful and moves air along . The remote is super convenient! One of the fans makes a tiny noise when oscillating but that could be an error I made putting it together bc the other doesn't. Both are still quiet. Assembly is super easy! Safe to say I LOVE this fan and HIGHLY recommend.

I've had it for three months now and it's been through a move and falling over a couple times (I'm clumsy lol) and it's still working like the day I put it together.The remote control is nice, it has the same button icons as the fan does except the power and fan speed buttons are separate on the remote.It was very easy to assemble. One thing I do really like about the assembly and disassembly is that the screw to hold the base to the pole has its own handle if you will so you don't have to worry about tools at all.I personally don't mind the noise level because I like white noise while I'm sleeping. I normally would never turn on a fan while trying to watch TV but the lowest level of this fan is soft enough that I don't mind having it on and turning the TV up only a couple notches.Now let's talk about the power on this bad boy. The highest setting on this fan will move your hair out of your face. I honestly could almost say this is close to a home industrial fan with a remote. If you like to keep It cold in your room while sleeping or have to have moving air, this fan is for you. Before this fan I had two box fans in my room and I would still wake up sweating but with this fan I had no issues at all it kept me cool all night and some nights I would wake up and have to turn down the fan.It does come with a oscillating feature that does have a decent range.It comes with a timer and the remote comes with the button to change that as well.The last thing is it does have a breeze setting. I had no clue and I may not have payed attention or something of that nature but I thought it was pretty cool. The button for it is just three dots which I was very confused by at first because I didn't know what it was but upon further investigation it was the breeze setting which also has three modes you can change and you can simultaneously change with the fan speeds as well.Over all I do love this fan it has has one tiny hiccup which is the pole at the tallest hight will slide down over time and it's not very tall at only 4ish feet at the tallest hight but honestly all of that is over looked with how well it works and how sleek the design is.

This Honeywell fan is well worth the price. The base is a heavy metal plate - it has a slight lean, but nothing like any of the other fans I've owned where they look like they're going to topple over. The motor housing unit is pretty heavy for a fan. When I turn it off after having it on for 8-12 plus hours, its cool to the touch. It has the 2 blade technology that allows more air to flow towards you. I love that feature!It's fairly quiet. The fan to the left sitting on the floor is a powerhouse commercial-like fan you'd find in a warehouse, it blows a TREMENDOUS amount of air. But it's also incredibly NOISY. I use that one to help keep me asleep (have sleep issues? go buy one from Walmart).I read a couple reviews where people said that cages that cover the blades is a little tricky. The little metal pieces that should slide down easily to hold the 2 cage pieces together - it is a bear to get them to close. I only had problems with 2 of them. But they aren't really that big of a deal, mine don't hang open.Haven't gotten batteries for the remote so can't give that a rating.

I would give a total of 5 stars were it not for the instructions.I returned the last one because part was missing. It was nowhere to be found.It might be a good idea to include in the directions that the extender pole is recessed down into the lower pole. I know it was not in the last fan that I returned because I turned the lower pole upside down and felt inside and did not find that extender pole.I am not real happy that the blades are plastic not metal but since they are working fine, I will accept it. Perhaps all fans have plastic blades now.I am EXREMELY happy that it is made of metal and the base is very heavy weight metal so I am very confident that it is not going to tip over.I have not tried all of the settings yet as my friends from down the block came and assembled it for me as I had 2nd COVID-19 shot on Saturday and had some reaction with tiredness and muscle pain from that then fell on Sunday so -- altough I suffered no injuries thank GOD -- I am feeling pretty drained and weak still so just couldn't bring myself to attempt to assemble it.It works very well. I haven't tried all of the modes to see if was whisper quiet at some setting but it is no louder than any box fan I have used and, in some instances, even less noise. When I feel up to it, I will try out the breeze modes because I do not have a clue what they are for.I am amazed that about the range of the remote control. The fan is sitting in the kitchen a room away at far end and the remote still works.

Ventilador muy bonito y con potencia suficiente para un cuarto, es bajito pero queda a la altura perfecta para una cama con base alta, en el nivel 1 el audio es imperceptible, ya en el 2 o 3 si es más pero es como cualquier otro, éste en especial tienen unas aspas centrales adicionales que ayudan a mover mejor el aire. El control remoto funciona a la perfección. 100% recomendado!.

So I had an older model in the Honeywell series, it unfortunately has been dying off and I needed a replacement so got this one, and I am very happy with it.Cons:- no very easy to use handle for moving it around the house- the breeze mode is no were near as good as my older model, I loved how it went from a high to low and back constantly, made it nice on low setting pointing right at me.... and I miss that severity of the breeze mode- no where to put the controller on the fan itselfPros:- nice controller with good settings and easy to use- light so while no grip it is still easy to move- very good arch can cover an entire room and it;s dual blades mix the wind up giving it a nice feel- great cord length for the power source, honestly if you are unable to plug it in you need more plugs or get yourself and extension cordvery happy with it, can be improved and I am a bit nostalgic of my older model but that is a personal bias

Je suis enchantée de ce ventilateur. En plus de bien me rafraîchir, j'adore son mode nuit car je ne l'entends presque pas. Et j'adore aussi son mode "brise de vent".

El acabado negro brillante, aunque inicialmente elegante con el tiempo perderá su elegancia. El ruido que genera está por debajo del promedio, no obstante la calidad media de los acabados, la experiencia previa con un modelo anterior me hace confiar en que adquirí un ventilador para varios años.
