This repellent is one of the best I have used. It has a high amount of DEET, so I would be cautious in using this on small children, but it definitely works. Some of the others I feel leave a film on your skin, where this one doesn’t feel to bad in that department. Coleman has always made good outdoor products, and this one is no exception.

Even though I bought this product 5 or 6 years ago, today was the first day I used it. I decided to go shooting at a nearby Wildlife Management Area that is heavily wooded, high grass, and there is both standing and flowing water near the area I go shooting. So today I remembered to take this with me and used it since the ticks in my area are at their highest in years. Usually I not only have to constantly keep swatting away deer flies and mosquitos, but also ticks. Well today I didn't have to worry about any of that and had a really good day out shooting and as the day continued to warm up and I began to sweat, the protection remained.You can't go wrong with 40% DEET, when all your other top brands at the time I bought this product were only offering 25% DEET in the products. All the years of using these other brands with less protection against pesky insects makes me wish I would have found this product sooner. I do see where these other brands have now started offering 40% DEET also, but after using the Coleman brand I will continue to use this brand and only this brand because I know it works.Pros: Cost, Ease of use, aerosol rather than spray pump, doesn't take your breath away like other brands when being applied, holds up well when sweating, literally kept everything from bothering meCons: wish I would have used it sooner, wish I would have found this product years ago

Although our yard drains well and we don't really have any standing water, our neighbor is a hoarder and has half a dozen junk cars in his back yard, all which collect water and turn into Mosquito breeding parties. It is hard for us to walk out in our backyard from May-September because of this. We've tried numerous different sprays, some smell nicer but don't work, others work better but stink. This product seems to be a nice balance. My only complaint is the can seems about half full.

It was the best insect repellent that I have bought. It keeps the mosquitoes and the nose sees away the rest of the stuff I bought with junk.

This stuff is just great for keeping the ticks away and all the other annoying bugs. Well worth the money.

I took this down to Belize during the rainy season and let me tell you it worked. My friend who didn't want to use any got half a dozen bites the first night. I think I had one bite in 14 days. The second day we went to a very off the beaten path swamp area to see some ruins. The park ranger said it was best we did not enter the area today because it was so infested with mosquito. We covered ourselves with this stuff, put on head nets, grabbed palm fans as swatters and went in. If we stood in a beam of light that came through the trees we could see a HALO of mosquito swarming around the both of us but not landing to bite. They would land on our backpacks but they stayed several inches from our sprayed bodies. Swarms of them, the park ranger said there were enough to pick us up and carry us away. This is not an exaggeration, it was pretty scary to look at, so we just stayed out of the direct light so we didn't have to know how many there really were around us.The spray melted the finish off of my cheep sunglasses where it touched, literally bubbled up and peeled off. Also cosmetically damaged some other plastics on the backpack that it came in contact with.

where I live we have a bad mosquito problem. Spray it on all unprotected areas and no more bites. This is by far the best pruduct I have ever used.
