It stands perfect - good light ... I do need to put something flat on the base to work since I use it to weed vinyl.

This is very light and maneuverable, but my only issue is that it seems to be somewhat top-heavy. The light is not that bright either, but not an issue for me as I use additional lighting.

Pretty neat little magnifier for most uses. Very light, folds pretty flat. LEDs are fairly bright but not too harsh. 6x "bifocal" magnifier inside the 2x main lens is a nice touch. Uses 3 x AAA batteries.The one MAJOR weakness is that while the arm and head are adjustable (all within the same plane), the lens / light head does not rotate. You can't place the arm sideways to you and tilt the lens towards you. The arm must be either pointing towards you (which gets in the way) or away from you (which really limits how far it can reach without falling forwards towards you or needing a weight to keep it in place.As a result, it can be useless for things you want to work on that are sitting on a table. You pretty much need to put the item right on the base of the magnifier.It's fine for working on things that you are holding in your hands.Overall, it's a good deal for the price, but the one major flaw really holds it back from being a great magnifier.

I received the magnifying glass but can't use it because it's missing a lock nut or whatever it's called that holds the arms that swivel in place.

I was recently hired full time at a place that sells eyeglasses and lenses. I have very bad eye sight and working with those tiny screws at the temples and the even tinier screws located at the nose pads is something I cannot see at all with the naked eye. I can move the magnifier screen so my hands can work with the little screw drivers and actually see the head of the screw somewhat so I can use the tools needed to do my job when a repair is needed for a customer. My only complaint is that I need to find one that magnifies 10X. The 2X-6X is just not strong enough for me. I still struggle to see the head of the screw. I really hate my bad eye sight on the job.
