Rough Country 2" Suspension Lift Kit for 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ/LJ - 65830

This kit fit my LJ perfectly. It was really easy to install by myself. It took maybe 4 hours total. Everything I needed was there and the Jeep looked awesome when I was done. The shocks are a bit stiffer than the Rancho 9000s I took off but after a year they are starting to break in. If you are looking for a good lift for a great price I would highly recommend this kit. All of the parts are metal, there is no noise coming from them, and it sets even. If I had a con for this it would be they didn't come with any boots for the shocks, I just used the ones that came off of my Ranchos and called it a day.

Easy install and decent quality parts. Fast shipping. Ride quality is like stock but a bit stiffer due to the nitro shocks. Recommend to fit taller tires and gives your wrangler a more aggressive stance. I needed this to fit 32” tires and worked great.

Easy install, good quality, just what I was looking for in a basic lift/leveling kit. Shipping was fast, everything was well packaged.

For the money, this is a decent lift. It makes my jeep more functional for off-roading and decent for daily driving. The shocks are on the stiff side and the coil spring spacers tend to vibrate a little with rougher roads. Tire size, 31's are the way to go. No rubbing at all. Installation wise is not too bad other than being time consuming. Overall for a suspension lift, it gives my jeep an aggressive look without breaking the wallet too bad

Installed this 2inch spacer lift on my 2001 tj, took about 4hrs. in my drive way. Gave it a great look and the clearance that i was looking for. Was pretty easy to install with basic tools.

Shipping was quick. The coil spring spacers are made of steel and they level out my TJ nicely. I didn't personally install it, so I can't speak as to the ease of the install. However, the mechanics who did the install didn't need anything extra to install it, so the kit is complete with all that you need. My shocks were old and worn out so the improvement in the ride was substantial both on and off road. I have 33" tires and the kit really helped stop the rubbing when offloading, but I do still rub the control arm when I crank the wheel. Overall I am very happy with the kit. The only negative that I have is. Once I purchased the order there was no communication from Rough Country as to the tracking status. I submitted a question through the "Contact Seller" icon. No response. Two business days went by and still no communication. I called Rough Country on the third day and the customer service rep was very helpful. He informed me that my kit would be arriving that day.

I love the stance and the look at gave mine. 33 x 12 50 tires work great with no problem. My bump stops, lower spring perches in the rear, and upper shock mount bolts were all unusable. Didn’t realize it until I started the disassembling. It would’ve been a three hour job. If it hadn’t been for that. Rough country makes a good quality kit here for a reasonable price. All the pieces were there, it was here when they said it would be, and everything fit like it was supposed to.
