I like this much better than the electric tape offered at most farm supply stores. It stretches nice and seems durable.

Easy to install, holds up well! I am replacing Electrobraid rope that we put up over 15 years ago. It is low maintenance and I did not realize how old the rope had gotten to be, until deer broke some strands and I had to replace. The fence was not hot in some places and I thought it was my charger. Then, I found a couple tears in my fence. I replaced the strand and it works great again. One 1,000 foot roll does about 3/4 of one strand of my fence. I have a huge pasture and very uneven ground. The fence is easy to replace, easy to tighten and as a woman, it is important that I can do it alone. Great product!

We have installed Electrobraid at three different ranches over the past 16 years and love it. It's easy to install, requires less posts, looks good, and is high quality. It bounces right back after getting buried in Colorado blizzards. It is more expensive than the cheap tape or thin ropes but is a far superior product. The tapes get loose and saggy after a while. We use it for horses but have kept all sorts of livestock in (and unwanted animals out) with this stuff. The bears never came on our mountain property after we installed it.

I build a 2 acre enclosure for my horses two months ago, using the ElectroBraid and push in pig tail posts - one strand. My horses checked it out the first day with their nose. That was the last time they bothered with the rope fence. I used about 875 feet for three sides. I am about to double the pasture size with more of the same.

We have been using rope fence for 10 years and it has never failed us. Now we are extending into another area and this product is excellent. The tinsel strength is great and the visibility is excellent. We tested the fence from end to end and had 5 bars on our tester along the whole 1000 ft strand so no loss of power made us very happy. This product is also very reasonable priced. We have purchased over 10,000 feet of rope fence and for the quality and length this was a very good value. This also fit perfectly and securely into the T-360 insulators we bought without any pinching and or snagging. Very happy with this product.

I have been using Electro Braid fencing for more than 10 years for horses in Oregon. It is easy to install and maintain. The horses respect it without being frightened by it. On a dozen or so occasions, I have had horses attempt to go through it when panicked and they just bounce back. On two or three occasions, I have had them go through it, breaking the connectors and, once, several fence posts. None of the horses were injured. Installation notes: I use three lines of Electro Braid, one ground and two hots. I only tighten it enough to stop visible line drooping. It is easy to do more but it only puts stress on the posts. If you get sparking, rotate the connector to improve contact. Do not mix this product with other electric fence products without a special transition connector as this product is copper based and the others are aluminum or steel based. Any contact between the two will produce severe corrosion.

Would purchase again.Use like metals. Copper to copper on all components, grounding rods, & lead out wires should be of same metal.

Can’t say if it’s durable. My original ElectroBraid of 20-25 years is showing it’s age and needs replacing. So far I’m not seeing the same quality but that’s just a users opinion.
