Pros: Pretty easy to build. I did it by myself.I like the color. Its is a glossy black.No creaking. I like the height of the bed as well.Cons: I was unable to screw in all of the slats for the base. I think there are 2 screws that I was unable to screw in. It seemed that the holes were a little off. Not too big of a deal. The weight of the mattress keeps the bars in place.The paint seems to have scratched off in a couple places, even though it was packaged well. Must have happened before packaging. Not a big deal though. Black is easy to touch up with a sharpie.

Not as complicated as it looked, very sturdy and doesnt creek while tossing and turning.

Wonderful bed especially for the price. Easy to put together, I did it by myself and I was eight months pregnant at the time.My only complaint is that while screwing on one of the decorative topper ball things, It stripped and now it's loose and crooked.Edited to add: Two years later and the bed is still doing great! Wonderful buy.

Great bed frame, only issue is the mattress slides on it. You need shelving liner or something to keep it in place.

First of all, this comes out of the box looking cheaply made. Easy to put together IF you have experience putting together parts of furniture. The directions SUCK. The metal is thin and came warped in parts, scratched in others. The pain on the metal balls was all chipped off coming right out of the foam wrap. The holes are uneven for the screws and take some maneuvering to get it to fit right but they eventually went in. The footboard DOES NOT sit that high, which I think I’m most upset about. It goes right to the edge of the mattress top. Overall, it’s tolerable but I will definitely be selling eventually to upgrade to a better quality one.

Wish I could give it zero stars. Seriously. Don’t waste your money. If you are using this bed in a spare room that is just for show, it might work. Otherwise, no. My husband is very handy and can fix anything. He made it work but, I don’t think it will last long. It was hard fought trying to get this thing together. It’s really shabby and cheap made. The parts don’t work together. Maybe it would have been better if this were in a flat floor instead of carpet, idk but again, just not well made at all. Hopefully, my daughter will get a year out of it but, I doubt it. I guess you get what you pay for, spend a little more and get something better.

Was pretty easy to assemble with the help of my husband. Has held up well!
