Fortin EVO-MAZT1 Preloaded Module & T-Harness Combo (1) for Mazda 2013 & Up Push-to-Start Vehicles

Couldn’t get install to work after following all steps. Called manufacturer and they said it’s likely corrupt and strongly encouraged not installing it and to upgrade to the Evo All.

Hugh fan of these modules. I have installed several of these and many of the older style. This will take half or less of the time and still have all if not more of the option you can from the full install ones. If you plan on installing a remote start. Make sure it is a t harness. Make sure you get a flasher for it. You will need it.

This was supposed to be preloaded for mazda, but after receiving the item it was just RS on the box and not mazda which is shown on the item page. Had to order the programmer for it also now.

Good website and phone support. Good documentation. But after hours of trying (including the assistance of phone support folks at Fortin) I could not get it to work with my '16 Mazda cx-9. Hooking it up is pretty simple, programming not so much (many steps). Talking to local car audio shops that install remote starters the feedback I got was that Fortin isn't very thorough with testing their modules for errors and correct programming (case in point, in the month between buying this and trying to install it there was a new install guide released with some changes).
