The fish spin. The lights glow. I sleep. 10/10.” —A very well-rested baby 👶
Look, I’m not saying I run the household, but when bedtime hits, I demand ambiance. Enter this magical box of lullaby wonder: the Baby Einstein Sea Dreams Soother.Let’s break it down from the perspective of someone who still drinks from bottles:🌊 Visuals:Mesmerizing. I don’t know who trained those fish to dance behind glass, but I’m obsessed. I stare. I coo. I do not scream. That alone deserves a gold star.🎵 Soundtrack:Elegant classical music that says, “You’re not just a baby—you’re a baby with taste.” Pairs well with warm milk and a footie pajama vibe. And the wave sounds? Let’s just say I’ve drifted off to my own personal beach more than once.🕹 Remote control:My staff (aka parents) appreciate the remote so they don’t wake me trying to sneak in and adjust the settings. Keep your hands to yourself, Susan.🔋 Battery life:Okay, the thing does have an appetite for batteries almost as big as mine for mashed banana. But they fixed it with rechargeables, so crisis averted.💤 Sleep impact:Before this, I refused naps like a seasoned protestor. Now? I hear that music, the lights dim gently, and suddenly I’m floating off to Dreamland on a jellyfish-shaped cloud.Final Thoughts:Buy this. Don’t make me cry for 20 minutes just because you tried that boring white noise machine again. I want fish. I want stars. I want Baby Beethoven.Thank you for attending my TED Talk. Now go press the button. 😴✨

Worth it
My baby had this while in NICU and seemed to enjoy it so I bought it for her when we got home. Now at 21 months she continues to use it. I turn it on when I put her to sleep and she will turn it on in the middle of the night and go back to sleep. She also turns it on in the morning and so I often know she's awake without her having to cry for me. The remote never really worked. I threw it out almost immediately. I do have to keep a supply of C batteries because I have to change them fairly often. I haven't really kept track of how long they last but my guess is 3-4 weeks. That's a lot of batteries, but so worth it.

My son loves this! It is entertaining and soothing for him.
My baby loves this! He stares at it all the time. He loves looking at it. It has 2 different volumes. It is not too loud. It has nice soothing sounds. You can play music or what sounds like waves or white noise. You can play it with the light on or off. The characters move. It is entertaining for him to watch and the sound and lights are soothing and not too bright. It is nice to have something to occupy him and help him sleep.

Bought 2 for my preemie babies!
My sons had these in the NICU and LOVED THEM! We bought 2 of them when they came home to help them have some familiarity. These keep their attention and help them drift to sleep. The battery life lasts a while, we’ve had these for almost a month and they haven’t died yet. The music is classical and adorable, my son loves watching the fish move and will talk to them as he drifts to sleep.

Super awesome, just wish they didn't need replacement batteries so often!
Both of our babies, (1.5yo and 5mo) have used these from the beginning in their cribs. We all them their "fishies." They LOVE falling asleep with them. Very calming for them. The music/sounds and lights fade out so slowly and nicely, not jarring at all. Our 1.5yo very quickly figured out how to press the big button on the front to start it again. It helps him back to sleep. It's well made and the attachment aspect is easy and safe on their cribs. When we were displaced during Hurricane Helene, this helped us recreate familiar bedtime in a new place in a new crib, it's a wonderful tool every night, but especially for those times your babies aren't sleeping at home. But we are spending a fortune on replacing the 4 C batteries all the time. Every couple of weeks, we are replacing 4 C batteries.

A favorite from the start
My baby is 3 months old and has loved the Baby Einstein Fish Tank since he was just 3 weeks! We started using it safely in his bassinet, and now it’s our go-to for tummy time. The lights and music keep him engaged and calm—it’s like baby magic! The only downside is the batteries run out pretty quickly, but I’ve heard you can get rechargeable ones which I plan to try. Totally worth it—highly recommend for newborns and up!
