Great product and very high quality

I’ve been using the Ultimate Electrolytes Powder for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed by how it has improved my hydration. As someone who works out regularly, staying hydrated is crucial, and this product has helped me maintain my electrolyte balance during workouts and throughout the day. The watermelon flavor is delicious without being too sweet, making it easy to drink even after intense exercise. I’ve tried other electrolyte powders before, but many of them have a chemical aftertaste, whereas this one tastes refreshing and natural. Tastes like artificial sweetener mixed with water drained from a can of chickpeas. Not a fan at all. I’ll be going back to my usual watermelon flavoured product from another brand, this one just isn’t it.

I'm not gonna lie, this is an acquired taste for me. I got it as the whole family had recently had a really bad virus and I was worrying we were getting dehydrated as it left us all with no appetite and so tired and ill we seemed to be barely drinking fluids. I made this up for my eldest son first as he seemed to be the worst but he took one sip and made a face like I had just tried to poison him! Now, I pride myself in having quite a varied palate and will put up with quite a lot of flavours in the name of health but I admit, I made a face too. It's not horrible, just a mixture of sweet and salty and maybe not what you want to gulp down when you're not feeling 100%. The instructions are to mix 3/4 of the provided scoop with 500ml of water. That's around a pint of water so it takes a little while to drink and if you're not too keen, it feels quite the task. This particular pint of fluid ended up sitting on the side for quite a while with me being the only person able to eventually finish it some hours later. Now, I wouldn't let our personal experience put you off as this product is serving a good purpose and it does not mean others will not enjoy the taste. It is simply a preference for us. I am happy to have this electrolyte product in my kitchen cupboard as think it is a useful thing to have in and I do believe it works and serves its purpose well. 4/5

Whilst I may not be new to using electrolytes in water to help when doing sports, I've never used this brand or flavour before. There is a small scoop included in the tub, annoyingly you need to mix 3/4 of the scoop with 500ml, why not just make the scoop smaller to be one full scoop. I added the powder into the glass then water on top, I had to stir a bit to get it mixed up properly. But once mixed it made a cloudy looking glass. The smell was definitely of water Melon and so was the taste. But for me the taste was too artificial too tanging. I really didn't like it. So whilst it's 3* from me that's mainly based on the flavour which is personal, and the annoying scoop.

I personally didn't enjoy the flavour and chalky feeling but some may.
