Not worth the headache
This review is intended for buyers replacing their motor in 2wd slash. Ok so at first the motor feels and looks quality but that’s about it for my experience. Now this will fit in a slash with a little side to side rocking because the motor housing is machined ribbed so it is snug fitting which I guess is good. Ok now, the shaft is 5mm so you have to purchase separate pinion gear. With that said try finding one that isn’t 1.0 pitch tooth, that means the teeth are farther apart than what you’ll have already on your stock motor, “see photos”. So after changing the pinion you now need to change the spur gear as well, also going to be limited to what will fit in your gear box. Do your research on gearing ratios please. Now you got the motor mounted it’s time to plug it in to your ESC, yup another snag, connectors are to short to reach your ESC, better buy those length adapters, oh an they won’t plug right into your speed controller because their slightly larger than 6.5 mmPlugs which means bust out your soldering iron. Ok snagged again, the Traxxas wiring is coated copper, make sure you fan out your wires and sand with 320 grit so when you try to solder it actually bonds. Now your cooking with gas folks, plug in that 3s lipo Traxxas battery and finally get to race, haha nope! 2 minutes into my mediocre speed trial around the yard and I smell smoke, motor screams and the wheels don’t turn. What in the world you think, I did everything solid!!!! Ok ok guys long story to simply say this motor is worth that soft brown goop that comes out your rectum after eating 5 chalupa supremes. Garbage, buck up for a name brand and save your head ache.

It seems, lime the KV rating is off. K
I have the exact same motor exact same KV rating only made by Onyx and that motor is extremely fast and runs cool but this motor is not near as fast and runs hot. I'm using a 4S battery on both Motors to compare

Decent But Deceptive
This appears to be a decent motor but I haven't installed or run it yet. I have several similar spec'd motors and if this performs similarly, it will be fine. The downside that was mentioned already by at least 1 persons is the misleading advertising of motor wire and bullet connector size/gauge. There's no way the seller has made this mistake by accident. There's a clear difference between 6.5mm bullet connectors which use 10 gauge wire and the 4mm bullet connectors using a smaller 12 gauge wire which this motor comes with. NOT COOL and definitely intentional deceptive advertising.

I like it !
great motor for the price, data log shows 2350 watts {3.2hp}, 155amp draw, on 4s lipo after 15 min truggy bashing in 95 degree florida heat. would have given it 5 stars but it came with 4mm bullets not the 6.5mm stated both in the specs and by the seller in the questions section.

Spend the extra cash on a name brand
The item description and the paperwork with the motor are false. The motor you’re getting has 12 gauge wire and 4mm bullet connectors. It is advertised with 6.5mm connectors. Makes me doubt all the other features that made me buy it. I returned it. You get what you pay for I guess.
