Works well for pup that no longer creates tears. Used in conjunction with a rx cream but easy to apply. Must make his eye feel better because he lets us apply daily a couple times a day.

Good product for eye “itis” infections. Vet prescribed and sold is for $30. Amazon much less expensive.

This stuff is awesome. The gel lasts a long time in my cat's eye. My newly adopted stray old guy, Winston, has entropion, which is when their eyelid curves back in to the eye and the eyelashes scrape the eye. =( It'll take me several months to save up the money for the surgery to fix that. In the meantime, he periodically requires a 2-week course of antibiotic eye ointment. After that 2 weeks, we use this gel in his eye 2x/day. The gel seems to make him more comfortable and it extends the amount of time until he needs another course of antibiotic ointment. Note: it's got kind of a big opening so if you're in a dim room or you forget to put your glasses on your head before tracking down the cat, you can accidentally easily overflow the eye with goop because it squeezes out really easily.... Also, I recommend storing it upright on its cap, which has a flat top. Another reviewer said it was hard to get the gel out after a while, so just storing it on its end fixes that problem. I do wish the tube was clear so you could tell how much was left in it, but maybe there's a preservative reason it's opaque white. I dunno. HIGHLY recommended this stuff, particularly over a liquid lubricant. This gel is definitely superior to a liquid.

this stuff is fantastic for your dogs' eyes....i have been using it on all my dogs for quite a while.....started because one dog had dry eyes and vet recommended it; am using it on my puppy to 'clean and soothe' his eyes.....the only time he stands still is while i put this on......it feels so good to him and i rub it in and then i get what 'gunk' i can and he works out the rest......it's an awesome product!

Exactly the same as what the Dr ordered. Cost less.
