So, to start this off, I have to say I was skeptical buying this chair. I saw reviews about the smell, reviews about quality, etc. But when reading reviews on Amazon, I also have to keep in mind (as I often do) that people are EXTREMELY hard to please anymore. They buy a chair that costs $399 (from other manufacturers) for this price of $159.99, and they see a tiny scuff on the back, under the seat where the only thing that would see it is the floor, and they call it trash. Or, one of the bigger ones and my favorite to read is the smell of the dyes used to color this chair, how they produced fumes SO BAD that it killed their house plants (massive exaggeration of course). I am positive that people LOVE to complain. It could have been handed to them on a silver truck, and it would still not satisfy them!So, On to my review, unbiased, genuine CONSUMER review!For the price difference from the other big names that big gamers use, I thought maybe the quality would be "not up to par", but let me tell you first off that the quality, simply amazing! Extremely sturdy, the PU leather fits perfectly, and is stretched nicely. The casters are of better quality than I would have imagined at this price point with such a chair. The Gas Piston for the chair height, also nice and tight, and very responsive.The Lumbar and neck / head pillows are a nice touch, and are filled well enough to actually work for their intention.The lever for leaning back is fluid in motion, and the range itself is smooth and easy, like a chair 3 times the cost!The colors are very vibrant, and even across the entire chair. So, on all that alone, I recommend this chair, as the price point vs. quality / construction is on point and worth EVERY penny!Lets address the "smell" as mentioned by all the other moaners and complainers. Is there a smell of dye used to color this chair when you open it? Yes.....Is this smell strong and able to knock you down? Yes and No.. When I say strong, I mean it's like ANY other smell, brand new, that would be in the air in a small room after buying something. For example, a REAL leather chair, I can smell those for days after getting them, just the same as I can smell the dye used for this stuff. It's all relative, but it's just that leather is more pleasing t the senses than the Chinese dye used for the AWESOME colors you get.Is the smell so bad that it gives you headaches? Well, not for me. I will admit that it's not the greatest smell, but I kid you not, after a few hours, the smell dissipated SO fast that it was barely noticeable, and by the next evening, it was gone completely. If it could be THAT much of a bother to you, assemble the chair in another room, the garage, or wherever, and let it sit for 24 hours, then place it where you want. As with anything of this nature, there will be off-gassing, which is completely normal and not some strange Chinese phenomenon. So, I could see some people getting their panties in a wad, especially with extra sensitive sniffers, but let me say that my wife has the MOST sensitive nose ever, she could smell a cigar I smoked a week ago just like I smoked it 15 minutes ago, no joke. All she said was "it smells kind of like paint in here", and that was it. It wasn't so bad that she got sick, which she has from other things before just smelling them.So with all that, let me say, and the tl;dr is....... ***drum roll***Buy this chair, it will make you a better gamer.......... I kid, I kid, but seriously, buy this chair, you will LOVE it. Pair it with the same companies memory foam seat cushion, and you have even more comfort for longer sessions, be it work (your co workers would be super jealous of you pimpin chair!), or a long live stream session.Buy one, enjoy one, sniff the glue off one and get silly, but no matter what, you will not be sad you spent your money on one!GTRacing is a great chair!

Ok so this thing is comfy and well built but Holly cow does it give off noxious fumes. Giving me headaches and smells like a leather tannery. Whoever the manufacturer is needs to seriously change their chemicals it's downright toxic.

Good quality chair, I bought this for my son for Christmas. Seams well built and sturdy. My only complaint is the instructions were just pictures and not easy to understand.

Very comfortable for an office/gaming chair. My teenage son says it looks awesome.

Our son bought this chair. He seems to like it but the fumes are VERY BAD and I wonder if dangerous. He’s had it close to two weeks and it still smells very strong. I’ll give it a 3-star because it might be perfect for gaming but honestly, it’s a 1 or a zero based in the smell.

I bought this chair and fk this thing stinks 3 days later and it can make my eyes water and its in a large basement too. I think the reviewer tom who says its not bad must work for the company. I have painted cars , in a garage and it is almost as bad as that. no it does not smell like leather it smells like major chemicals. other than that its awesome .. also the speakers totally suck (Bluetooth doesn't connect to my computer) thinking how I can kill the smell maybe leather cleaner? or just soap and water?
